I have seen quiet a couple of former wcw superstars have signed foe wwe in this few years since the take over in 2001. Top wcw stars like rey mysterio, goldberg, NWO, billy kidman and many more have join and leave the company except sting. So right now i'm thinking just like many of you guys out there, when will sting sign foe wwe???

it really annoys me but I dont see it.
I do see him signing a legends deal for merch etc in a couple of years time but I dont think we will ever see Sting onscreen in WWE.
he had a great chance this past winter to go out looking like a legend.would he have beaten Taker?of course not.but he could have taken him to the limit which would have been awesome to see.

Wish he wasnt so and idiot and put his pride to the side and do one match at least. Now they make money on WCW tapes involving Sting and he dont make nothing on it.

Isn't the whole purpose of pride and "keeping your word" so to speak well......keeping your word? I think that Sting wants to help a company build in TNA (not that they're doing so great right now) and takes pride in being the most successful wrestler to never work for McMahon. I wanted to see him face Taker to and still do, but it's looking extremely doubtful in the future.

I don't see him ever wrestling for them.
Once he's retired however, I do see him going in the HoF, getting a DVD set and possibly a mattel figure. I hope for those things at any rate.

does wwe need sting? NO! they're a well established company and he will not be utelised as he is in TNA, in TNA he still has alot to offer and tna is a growing company and sting has always been they're along the way.
why go to the wwe when your happy in tna, how is the grass greener on the otherside? most people want sting in wee for merch, dvd's, mattel figure, and worst of all to face taker. why i have no idea nothing interesting there at all taker is beyond over-rated.

He won't and I'm glad.
Sting is the biggest star ever to never appear in a WWF/WWE ring. If he ever does show up in a WWE ring, then he'll have ruined his whole legacy as this star that no matter what, Vince just couldn't sign. He realized that Vince doesn't look fondely on talent he didn't build up and knew that if he ever signed w/ the WWE that Vince would job him out for years before doing anything decent w/ him. The best chance Vince had to sign Sting was during the Invasion angle, but Sting has noted that the burrial of guys like Booker T and DDP was the reason he didn't sign. He just doesn't trust Vince w/ his character, and I don't blame him.

The WWE does not need Sting
Sting does not need the WWE
I dont get the fascination with him wrestling the Undertaker. They have nothing in common other than the color black. Vince McMahon would more than likely make it a squash than have Sting take Taker to the limit.

At Sting's age and considering he and WWE don't particularly need each other, I think a Hall of Fame induction would be plenty.
Sting would get proper recognition without having to do another "run" (which could be a letdown since he's not at young as he used to be), WWE would finally get him for a WrestleMania weekend, and Sting could hang onto the pride of being one of the only success stories that did it all without WWE's input.
Heck, maybe he does a small bonus at Mania and gives the Stinger Splash and scorpion deathlock to a midcarder. Not a match, just a crowd-popping spot a la Stone Cold.
