Needless to say, I'm pretty excited! It's my first Popy. I won this on eBay last week and saw it on my doorstep today. Take a look:

I want to start collecting Popy's, but I don't think I could afford any at the moment.

Hey, thanks for the comments guys. I paid $190 total with shipping, for anyone who asked. I noticed last night that the lower left corner of the card has a very small perforation, like a pull-off tab type of thing. If you look closely, you can see it in the pic. Does anyone happen to know the story behind this? Was it some type of promotion or something?

Hey Ruby............... when are you buying your first MOC Popy. Not anytime soon; like I've told you a while ago: I'm back into die-cast Ferraris (3" scale). My wrestling hobby just stays to japanese figs I like and my original plan of owning all Popys loose. So far I have: Abdullah, Andre, Hogan, Hansen and recently Mil Mascaras arrived.

Great pick-up! I've noticed that pull off tab as well and was wondering what was the point as well.
At this point I've got all Popy figs but Terry Funk. All are loose except for my Hogan, Race, and Mascaras.
They are easily my favorite set of figures.

I'm assuming that would be Andre the Giant's very first action figure ever, right? If so, that's got to be incredibly rare. The overall figure itself looks pretty cheaply made and made of hard plastic, but I'm sure back then the company that made those figures didn't have a whole lot of options to go with, but I guess it turned out nicely.
I know I'd sure like to have that in my collection. Thanks for the pic.

Still, nice figs dating back from 1981!

Popys have a nice look to them. A classic look IMO.
