You can't please everyone. WWE has been must see TV for 5 weeks now, and I'm greatly pleased with it. It's been awesome and I love it. If you don't, then oh well...go watch something else. Comedy Central plays "It's Always Sunny..." during RAW so you can have that. I'll watch it on DVD after RAW and still be happy.

I don't know what to think right now. I've been following every part of Punk's career since about 2002-2003. John Cena won, which I expected, I got up and got on my computer to get on WF and read all your guys bitching, then I heard Cult of Personality hit.
That is the most I've marked out in a long time. Even more than when Punk won from Cena last Sunday. This is the greatest angle in a long time in the WWE and you guys should really appreciate it. That's all I'm saying.

This whole episode was boring and pointless.

The funniest part was none of the supposed CM Punk fan's recognized the music before hand..... I certainly didn't. Not all of us watch ROH. That was a big fail on WWE's part honestly. This is the reason he didn't get a decent reaction. They should've saved it for SummerSlam. The whole point of giving him new music was to create confusion after Cena's win. RAW's been all about unpredictability lately, and I personally enjoyed the time waiting to find out who the person behind the music was. Not like Punk didn't get a mega reaction after he came out from behind the curtain. Great RAW. Great Wrestling, great surprises, RYDER and even though this should go under the surprise category, JIM ROSS!

Uh, yea. You enjoyed that tonight? Great. You must be easily pleased cause that's honestly the worst possible turn out for the angle. Not only does Punk's title win look irrelevent due to there being TWO WWE Championships but Triple H being the "owner" takes away from the realistic appeal that Punk's shoot originally created. Seriously, this angle was in the dump ever since last week's Raw. I thought they could do something with it but all we get is Cena winning the title for the 10th time, Punk's extremely anti-climactic return, and the inevitable "WWE Champion vs WWE Champion" match at Summerslam, which will see... Spoiler: Cena win.I'm outta here. Thank god... go away.. had that been Anderson or MVP your computer would be covered in some kinda substance... trust me... I got this everyone... all of what you are stating is your opinion but dont rain it down on others who enjoyed the angle simply because you did not. How about you go watch some blonde loud mouth drop his title to some old man who is trying to play off of a movie from 3 years ago. Oh off already. If you don't like what I'm saying, don't read it. I'm giving my opinion like everyone else. You might calling it "raining on your parade", so excuse me for not liking 1 hour title reigns and stupid decisions. And it's easy to talk poop when I say I'm done. I suppose you'll reply to this with "LUL I TOT U WERE OUTTA HERE?!?!?!?!?" ... f-ck off.

Well looking at this thread now, I'm sure glad I'm not the only one who feels like most of WF just ruins the product for themselves.

I don't see how anyone can compliment Raw since it was ING POINTLESS to watch in the first place, as Punk coming back negated a championship they were building up for 2 weeks, for no god damn reason in the first place as it just showed that you could easily replace a champion. I thought Cena was finally going to turne. I got excited for that moment he was hugging Rey. I was like "Do it, it's the 'new era' come on..COME ON!!!" but nope. Pity

Who says he's even "back" ..for all we know he could have just been proving he is still the actual WWE champion.

I just don't understand why they would have Triple H "take over" now. It kind of became its own storyline that overshadowed Punk-Cena. There was really no reason to have Triple H come back just like that, they could've left Vince in this angle and dragged it out as long as they want. But maybe things will make more sense as they continue to develop.
I felt like they jumbled together too much in this RAW. JR returning, Cole being part of the storyline again and wrestling a pointless match, two WWE Title matches. They just could've dragged this out a bit longer and had Rey lose the title to Cena next week with Punk confronting him after the match.

also, I'd like to say that I TOTALLY woke my girlfriend up marking out once the cult of personality played. this is the 2nd time she's tried ruining a CM Punk moment for me. I wouldn't be surprised if she gets "Future Endeavored"

WORST. RETURN. EVER. The crowd was DEAD until he held the belt up. That was really bad. Really bad. Now Cena beats him at SummerSlam and Punk goes back to being just one of the guys. A shame. Just like how Cena beat Punk at MITB right? If anything, the WWE has proved this angle has brought, and will continue to bright a lot of unexpected turns. If you honestly think this ends at Summerslam, with Punk losing to Cena, you're crazy. The WWE has catered to the IWC with this angle, anyone who follows ROH would get him using Cult of Personality, hence why the reaction wasn't as good as it should of been. Crowd was probably burnt out considering they had already gone through two good WWE title matches. Bravo to the WWE, great Raw tonight, with another good ending. That's like, 5? in a row where I had no idea what was coming.

The funniest part was none of the supposed CM Punk fan's recognized the music before hand..... Truth be told, it wasn't meant for those fans he's been gathering since 2007. That's for the small percentage of fans who follwed him before that. Just like the Colt Cabana comment a few weeks ago was.

only problem with Cena turning on Rey like that is this. It kind of would have fell flat...what motivation would he have had for tunring ? Kentonbomb? You mad? I was hoping for Anderson too oh well..maybe Thursday

Who says he's even "back" ..for all we know he could have just been proving he is still the actual WWE champion. And they'd let him walk into the arena in his wrestling gear and play new theme music for him? It's not like he came through the crowd or something lol. There's no way they could play it off as "We had no idea Punk was there!"
