Despite the sheer crap that went on in the first 3/4 of the show (Rey/Dolph and Rey/Truth was good tbf), that final segment was certainly very interesting. I have no interest in this WWE title tournament because it just doesn't live up to the whole Punk angle, but I guess it's all related.
My guess is Punk will return, still 'rightful WWE champion', with Vince by his side. Vince who is looking to get back corporate control.
Not sure what the future holds though really. Since Vince created that tournament, will it really be continued next week? and what will the corporate HHH bring to the table? I am anxious to see next week's RAW, so WWE have succeeded on that level. But I'm also extremely confused, and underwhelmed after PPV of the decade last night.

I honestly have a disgusted feeling after Raw. I was so jacked up on wrestling after Sunday, and now, that all went away.

I know it won't happen and I'm saying this completely in a hypothetical sense but... Imagine if Vince turned up at TNA next week and 'took over'. Just imagine it...

You guys didn't like RAW? It was 99% wrestling. I thought everyone wanted more of that!

Didn't really like the ending. It was just awkward. It also wasn't in the character of vince or hhh.

hardly anyone enjoyed raw because it didn't go their way. how long did you expect the punk storyline to go on? that's what you get for having such high hopes. you should all be happy that they're continuing this storyline with vince. what's going to happen next? i know i'm looking forward to see what's next.

You guys didn't like RAW? It was 99% wrestling. I thought everyone wanted more of that! The matches were short and boring, the commentary was exceptionally atrocious tonight, and it was their response to their biggest storyline for years. It was the biggest anticlimax ever. Not to mention the fact that watching the same people wrestling for two hours is boring as sin.

. Maybe Vince is beginning to step down but not completely as they said on TV. Mind=blown. A little too dramatic for me, i do wish it was the ruthless Triple H we know, saying the Vince "YOUUUURRREEE FIRRREEDDD" But alas. Ball=not dropped in this storyline, again, more excited for Raw next week to see how WWE moves forward. I liked the tournament and hope Miz wins.

I thought RAW was decent. Some of the matches were good, but the lack of Punk or Cena (till the last ten minutes) really dragged the show down. But the final segment was interesting & now I'm curious to see where things go from here.
Plus they get bonus points cause I'm always glad to have Triple H on my TV.

I can't wait to see how Lagana and the other writers feel about all of this. Should be an interesting podcast.

i enjoyed the ending. it felt real just like the cm punk angle, and not just some scripted finish where someone became the new champion and that was it. for the first time in a while, the ending of the past few weeks of raw have gotten my attention.

You guys didn't like RAW? It was 99% wrestling. I thought everyone wanted more of that! POST OF THE DECADE. BUT, I said this in another thread, when the tournament was announced I was pretty mad, and through the whole show I wasn't focused on the really good matches. Instead I was thinking about how meaningless they were about to make the WWE title. THEN HHH comes back in and although I would have scripted things different, he takes over and sends Vince packing. So we had over 1 1/2 hours of matches, and an ending that wasn't predictable and keeps us guessing. No new champ, and no cash in, I'm going to bed happy with wrestling tonight. Like we've been saying, last night marked a new era and I fully believe this still.

How the hell was it bad or even near bad?
2 hours of entertaining television, good wrestling, a lot of wrestling and a fantastic ending.
Every week people bitch about wanting more wrestling and less promos. Now that it happened, they think it's bad. Christ, you people confuse me.
