Raw superstar becoming new leader of the Nexus?

Well, kind of....

- An idea was brought up by WWE creative recently to put Zack Ryder in a new group with WWE Tag Team Champions David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty, who may be without a stable if or when Nexus dies after CM Punk's departure.

- Speaking of Nexus' future, Mason Ryan will likely be repackaged. There has been talk of using him as a bodyguard for either The Miz or Alberto Del Rio.

I really hope they don't do this. Ryder is good as he is now, and siding with Nexus would likely ruin him, since Otunga and McGillicutty are two of the worst in WWE. Let Ryder and Big O/Hawkins/Anybody-but-a-Nexus-member team to finally get rid of Nexus, and capitalize on people actually wanting to see Ryder on Television with a Tag Title run.

If they remain as the Nexus, then they're screwed. If they take on Ryder's gimmick (which I doubt) it'll probably still be horrible.

I just think Ryder has enough charisma to drop the Jersey Shore character and use his own coolness to become like the Rock. Keep your slogans but give yourself an impressive look. Bulk up a bit, lose the headband, and really be yourself Ryder.

I was waiting for this story to break!

Ive been watching this product for so long, its getting harder to predict whats going to happen on TV, yet easier to predict the 'Inside Scoop' stories that break from these unreliable sources such as Wrestling Observer. Zack Ryders appearance on Raw was quite obviously in no way related to the New Nexus.

But hey, WWE might hear about this article and steal the idea. Who knows. At least then The Observer can claim one of their educated guesses came up trumps.

Yeh... I doubt that'll happen but it's possible I mean Zack did come out on Raw and said to them . So that will either be Zack get's a tag partner or he joins them which would save WWE having to find him a partner.
