22 Jump Street
Funny as hell my favorite was when Jonah Hill met his girl's parents lol & really enjoyed the Seth Rogen cameo at the end.

Suicide Club
It was intriguing for a while, but now that it's finished, I feel like I just wasted 100 minutes. I guess there was a resolution to the mystery, but hell if I know what it was.

Hercules (Rock Version)
1 out of 5
I was very disappointed with this movie. I wanted to go see this at the theater but was not able to, im so happy I didnt see this in theater. This movie seems like something that was meant to go straight to dvd. The story was weak and predictable. Im sad to see the Rock would attach himself to such a poop movie.
Delivery Man
2 out of 5
This movie was nothing special but it also was not horrible. It's not really a straight up comedy but it also is not a straight up Drama. I think the film would have been better had the film makers stuck to one genre. The one thing that really bothered me is Vince's character keeps getting tickets and eventually gets his delivery truck towed. Any real delivery guy knows where, and when you can park so this really bothered me. I saw the tickets and tow as a lack of research on the writer's part. It's like me making a movie where writers get fired cause they forget their pens or computers.

Jurassic Park: The Lost World Always enjoyable for me.....its on TV as we speak. Was that on ITV2 for a change mate haha? Love that movie. Don't get the hate really but I guess it could just be that I love the nostalgia aspect of it. Jurassic Park 3 on the other hand... Oh boy, what a shocker.

A Kiss Before Dying
2 out of 5
The wife picked this film. I thought it would be horrible but I was pleasantly surprised. I gave this film a 2 because I went in expecting nothing and ended up entertained. There was plenty in this movie that I thought was weak but I can't bash it much because my expectations where low to begin with.
The Purge Anarchy
1.5 out of 5
This film just made little sense to me. In the first Purge movie we see what happens to a wealthy family. So I could kind of make sense of things. In this second Purge film the backdrop is not a wealthy family's home, the backdrop is a poor Urban area. It just left me scratching my head and made me have a long list of questions. Why wouldnt the poor just go kill the wealthy? How is it possible that hospitals are open right on the second the purge ends? Are Hospital safe zones? Wouldnt all who are stuck being hunted run to a Hospital if it is a safe zone? Do film makers really think Americans would turn to random violence that quickly? I did however like the introduction of a rebel group and the people behind the black Semi trucks.

Oldboy (2003)Holy hell, this was an amazing film. Some of the subject matter is pretty twisted, but it had me hooked from start to finish. Highly recommended. (The link takes you to Hulu, where it's free to watch.)

Stupid, cheesy BA superhero guy saving people. The whole hunting scene at the end was garbage. I can't say enough bad things about this movie.

Stupid, cheesy BA superhero guy saving people. The whole hunting scene at the end was garbage. I can't say enough bad things about this movie. I had a very hard time believing that people would set out to kill the poor. I can see how the rich kids in the first film would look for a homeless man to hunt/kill. But in this second film im expected to believe poor people would kill each other. No one would risk their life for no personal gain. I could see poor people risking their lives in hopes of gaining wealth and or revenge. It made me laugh at the beginning when the movie shows us various groups of hunters/killers. There was a bus with guys who were out to kill in an impoverished downtown. Im pretty sure if a gang went to the trouble of buying a bus they would not drive it into the ghetto. They would instead go to a neighborhood with money. And then this movie went out a step further from the first film in showing us more random violence. The movie is full of scenes where strangers attack strangers for no apparent reason. In the real world people usually leave violence as a last resort so I had a hard time believing that the world would turn to poo on that one night. In the first purge a wealthy family bunkers down so everything that happens in that movie is like an isolated incident. In the second movie though im expected to believe people would willingly go into the ghetto, which is a dangerous place to be as it is, on the one night of the year when crime is legal. Really I think the movie failed to tell a good story. I don't need to see random and meaningless acts of violence to understand that all is legal on purge night. Had the film makers done a good job they would have told a story with dialogue. Instead though we get random kills. Like the scene with the Rich hunters. The old lady clearly said that it was the last purge of the night. They put the group into that warehouse, and then we see someone get killed who was not in the group...... Where did he come from? I thought they had said this last group was the last purge of the night? Did the film makers think the audience was so dumb we needed to see a random killing just to convey the message that the warehouse is a killing field?

Blended 10/10
I have always liked Adam Sandler and Drew Berrymoore together but when I saw the trailer to this it honestly didn't strike me as something that would be all that great. However, the fiancee really wanted to see it so we redboxed it last night. I ended up really liking it and admitted I was wrong. In fact I liked it enough that we'll end up buying it. We both really enjoyed it and agreed it's worth repeat viewings.
The Other Woman 5/10
This was just okay. Nothing bad. Nothing special. We didn't even finish it because we got tired. Not sure I'd go out of my way to finish it later but don't regret what we watched of it.

They walked through the "financial area" where all the banks are and not a soul was to be found. That made me scratch my head. If all crime was legal that one night I would think criminals would first go hit up the banks and try to get some cash, instead of lighting homeless people on fire.

The poor can't just go kill the wealthy because they don't all have access to weapons and all of the rich have highly secured homes, if you saw in the first one. The only reason other rich people killed each other in the first was because they took in that poor guy. The purge ends at a certain time and that was well over a minute after the purge ended by the time they got to the hospital so everything begins to open again. And the purge had been going for years so I do think eventually that people would, and it's a movie.. That's like asking.. Do you really think Jurassic park could happen? Lol

Space Station 76
Interesting concept. Didn't really stick the landing, but I'm still glad I watched it.
