The Departed.. AKA my favorite movie of all time.. Reigning supreme since it came out in 2006, even though strong competition has challenged it.. Tippy top of the list.

Godzilla. I was underwhelmed. And it makes me wonder if there is a place for Godzilla in 2014.

I eagerly awaited Martins take on the Irish American side of things......and my God it did not disappoint. Stellar cast too. my last was a double bill of Pacific Rim & The Wolverine. Very enjoyable indeed.

Very enjoyable indeed. I'm not a comic book/super hero fan, but man do I love 'The Wolverine.' Last for me: Sahara featuring Bogart (the original A+ player) Can't recommend the movie enough for anyone that loves Saving Private Ryan - darn good war film

Great action movie!! James Caan makes such a good bad-guy. And it's a shame both James Coburn and Robert Pastorelli are no longer with us. Both were great actors and are sadly missed.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One Now that it's getting colder, it puts me in the mood to watch the series again. I'm used to catching bits and pieces on ABC Family marathons that they run around this time of the year. Those Harry Potter films were not for me. I watched all 8 of them. The entire time I was thinking the series would pick up, it never does. I remember when these films came out I thought they were made for, no offense to anyone,...... Book worms? So I passed. Last year though I thought I would give them a fair try. What I feel hurt the series more than anything is that from the beginning of the first movie we're led to believe Harry is some kind of extremely powerful wizard. Yet in all of the movies Harry does nothing to show the viewing audience that Harry is extremely powerful. He lingers on in every movie when it comes to making tough decisions or when it comes to confronting the enemy.

Saboteur - Hitchcock, even with an abrupt ending...bravo sir - to think that in the 30's & early 40's he was making movies about home grown t@rrorists is astonishing to me
a bunch of Friday the 13th movies...4, 5, 6? 3, 4 again? yup
