Just like the topic says, which version of Kurt Angle did you prefer, the "Olympic Geek" or the "Wrestling Machine" Angle? As we know, Angle started out as a goofy nerd, but after having his head shaved in 2002, became a much more serious character. By 2006, he had started wearing wrestling shoes and basically had a more "shoot style" look and was even more serious than before. So which version do you like better?
Even though I've loved everything Angle has done in and out of the ring, I've got to say that the "Olypic Geek" character was my favorite version of Angle. Not only was he great in the ring, but his promos were some of the funniest that I have ever seen. Here are a few of my favorite nerd Angle moments...
So which version of Kurt Angle do you guys like better?

Any Angle gimmick is good for me. This, though if I had to pick one, I would say I really liked Angle in 2003. I don't know where that fits, because he certainly wasn't the wrestling machine, but I wouldn't consider him a geek either. |

I consider him the machine from the time his head was shaved.....even though he had stopped the geek thing a good stretch before that

I grew up watching him as a Wrestling Machine, and, damn, his WM 21 Classic w/ HBK was MOTN, if not MOTY Candidate. all 3 of their outings were absolute gold. I want a WWE DVD of Angle right now dammit |

personally,i loved the goofy and "innocent" Angle more...used to die when he would team up with edge and christian...
his "courtship" of Stephanie McMahon in 2000 was pricelss,and his opening speech to HHH about his wife in the main event was just....i became an instant fan,and it immediately made HHH a face in the match....christ,Angle had HUGE heat in the summer of 2000!

Geek Angle by a long shot, when he was funny and did promo's alot. I'll never forget the chicken suit thing with Edge, Christian, and Foley

He was far more entertaining as the geek. But it just wasn't the same to me after the whole "wrestling machine" gimmick.

Geek he had the humor, intensity and the ring skills to back it up, all round great.
Serious angle was just too serious, (joker comes to mind, why so serious) but MAN he kicked SERIOUS &$$ as a wrestling machine and his TNA run is great to showcase his skills, but nothing compares to the comedy he had in the 90's early 2000's :')
