Yeah I have the dvd, it was a great feud. Orton losing his mind and all that craziness.
And LOL! Orton's hair!

Their year long feud was awsome, and the build up to Hell in a Cell was great(though some things were stolen from the Hogan/Warrior feud from WCW). Sadly, I felt that the match was a let down though. It just didn't seem up to par w/ some of the better HIAC matches, and I feel that the Taker/Lesnar HIAC was much better.

Taker vs Lesnar is in the top 3 HIAC matches for me.it hard serious drama(in ring and out)and UT took one HELL of a live round when Lesnar slipped with those steps. unfortunately while good Orton vs UT just didnt match up.

Well. to be honest you couldn't expect Orton/Taker to match up Taker/Lesnar or Taker/Foley, and even Taker/HBK.
I still enjoyed the match, though.

The feud had some cool moments (I remember an angle involving a casket and two Undertakers) but I would hardly tout it the greatest feud of the '00s. That would be a huge overstatement.

I liked their Mania match, but to me the Cell wasn't THAT great. Was this the Cell with the really low ceiling?

triple h sh*t on orton a month after becoming champion, i'd say undertaker did more for orton's character as a serious heel

you kidding that feud made Orton the star he is today If anyone made Orton who he is today, it's Triple H. More like HHH took a huge crapon Orton's career. The guy was over as a heel in 2004, and was only ever over as a hell at that point, yet HHH and creative thought it would be a good idea to turn him face after he won the world title, and Orton's career went downward from there. It's funny that HHH claims that Orton wasn't connecting w/ the fans, yet HHH was the one who thought it would be great to turn him face. If anything, Taker is the one that made him credible again in 2005.

As much as I love the Undertaker and Orton feud, it was really only good up to Wrestlemania 21. After that, it was ehhh. The match itself is good, minus Bob's involvement.
Undertaker's feud with Batista was not only better all around, but resulted in better matches, a better story told over a longer period of time, and resulted in a MUCH MUCH MUCH better Hell in a Cell match.
The Batista/Undertaker HIAC match is everything that's great about HIAC, and they didn't have to break out of the cell for that to happen.

that match at Backlash 04 and feud running into it is what got Orton started.it wasnt Undertaker or HHH.

Foley put him over as a credible guy, but HHH ruined all of it w/ his dominance over their feud during the second half of 2004. Taker then had a year long feud w/ him to build him back up in 2005.

I loved this feud. Randy Orton was out for trying to kill Undertaker. Remember Orton set Undertaker's casket on fire with Undertaker in it.
