AWA question?

No idea if this is posted in the right category but as WWE kind of owns the AWA name and tape library then this seems as good of a place as any.
I have recently been watching old AWA videos and I'm amazed at how many star wrestlers the awa actually had its hard to imagine what would of happened if guys like Hulk Hogan, Andre The Giant, The Road Warriors, Shawn Michaels, Marty Jannety, Scott Hall, Curt Hennig, Jesse Ventura, Bobby Heenan, Vader, Ric Flair, Eric Bishcoff and Dallas Page had all stayed in the AWA so many guys started out there before going on to the WWE or NWA/WCW, Hogan seemed really over before he left maybe if they had better management with contracts they would have overtaken all the other competition, I find it trajic that they pretty much lost all their talent during this time, Anyone else a fan of the AWA back in the day? and think they deserve more credit for creating so many future main event wrestlers?

AWA was great, but fell to **** at the end.

The AWA was the birth place of sooo much, however, much like TNA shows, if you dont have the proper backing and promoting, you can have all the names in the world and it wont amount to crap. Hogan was over but he would have never been half as big as he was in WWF.

AWA had a HEAP of viable talent.but Verne drove a lot of them away.........pity.

Yeah, AWA had a lot of talent that became future stars. I love catching AWA on ESPN classic.
