I just finished the whole set today. It was nice. I'm a very nostalgic person so I liked it I guess. My only complaint (and this rings true with most WWE dvd's) is that there are no wrestler interviews. Like, I wouldn't mind hearing ex-WCW stars comment on what they thought when the nWo was created, or like when Russo and Bischoff joined forces in 2000. It's all matches and promos, and personally, I didn't even think all the matches were that great, and some of the promos they picked were downright awful. You mean it doesn't have a Documentary part. I assumed it would have wrestlers talking about when it started, Nwo, Decline, Bischoff, Russo. I guess they felt it would blend to closely to the Rise/Fall dvd.

and thats the thing it wouldnt.the High points of Nitro were skimmed over on the RAF of WCW.
a docu on Nitro itself would have been ace IMO.

But those with just matches are ok, but not nearly as good. I expected the Nitro Dvd to be a Documentary style then matches. Oh well

You guys make me want to get it right now! I need to gather $30 from my next pay check and buy the Rise and Fall of WCW Complete 3 Disc Set and the Best of Nitro. I want to watch WCW Monday Nitro on YouTube but my little brother is using the PlayStation 3.

It's a great set for any WCW fan. I loved it. I wish they had put the Owen Hart Tribute match between Benoit and Bret on there but I understand why they didn't.

Benoit is on the dvd however during the Four Horsemen reunion when Flair returned and Arn even says his name but no Benoit matches other that I think one clip that is the end of a match during an nWo attack

WWE cares. The like to release different matches on different DVDs, so people feel a need to still buy them.

picked it up yesterday....K-Mart,sadly,didn't have it,so no 4H bonus set for me.... watched disk one so far...it's good... DDP is there as kind of a "host" or something, but he had less that 5 minutes of actual screen time so far....it's kind of broken up into matches and segments..... for disk one,it had: MATCHES: Jushin"Thunder" Liger vs Flyin Brian Pillman (Nitro Debut) Hulk Hogan vs Big Bubba Rogers (Nitro debut) Hulk Hogan & Randy Savage vs Ric Flair & Arn Anderson Ric Flair vs Eddie Guerrerro Steven Regal vs Belfast Bruiser Road Warriors vs Sting and Lex Luger Sting and Luger vs The Outsiders Harlem Heat vs Steiner Bros. vs Sting and Luger Rey Mysterio vs Dean Malenko tons of segments and promo's too, like: Luger and Hogan (Nitro Debut) Hall and Nash's respective debuts the newly formed nWo the day after Bash at the Beach 1996 Hall and Nash attacking in the back (Rey Mysterio lawn dart) Fake Sting attacks Luger Real Sting declares himself a free agent Roddy Piper outs Eric Bischoff ...plus a few more nWo segments..... one thing about it that drives me nuts....there's no insert with it,so you don't what's on each disk til you pop it in....

I am only on disc one and the only thing I do not like so far is the daimond plate side bars that stay on during the matches. Other then that so far well worth the money.

Other then that so far well worth the money. yeah, that bothered me at first too,but then i realized i guess it was meant to mimic the original square TV aspect of viewing the program....i have a widescreen plasma,so i was wondering if the side plates are also visible if you watched it on a regular square TV screen?
