Am I the only one who enjoyed the character?
To keep the discussion going, what are some other gimmicks that you liked?

I thought he looked odd when he went from the Lone Ranger mask to the chinless mask.

I liked Papa Sango possibly more than The Godfather Papa Shango was by far my favorite of his gimmicks. I thought The Godfather was dumb as hell and never really cared about Kama.

Never liked the Repo Man gimmick. That said, I bet Mattel could make a great figure of him. I was disappointed that Shango never amounted to anything. Would've loved to have seen a big Shango/Taker feud like we got with Mankind/Taker. I had Undertaker, Shango, and Jake Roberts form a stable with my Hasbros, gave them some evil name I can't recall. Liked the Godwinns when they were Southern Justice.

I never liked him but-I recognised him as Smash straight away.I was such a fan of Demolition that I would have known him anywhere-even at 12/13.

I liked Repo Man at the time, but the reason I liked him was because I was a Demolition fan and I knew it was Smash. It really had nothing to do with the gimmick. In fact, put any other guy in that gimmick and I may have disliked them.

I never liked him but-I recognised him as Smash straight away.I was such a fan of Demolition that I would have known him anywhere-even at 12/13. this,too.... though it saddened me too... A) i knew this meant that Demolition was truly finished... B) it made me hearken back to the "good old days" of late 1987 - summer 1990 when Demolition was THE hottest Tag Team in the WWF....and reminded me how badly they had fallen...

my favorite gimmick of all time,if it's not obvious, was the original Undertaker character, the "Old-West" type of Undertaker...
i liked Papa Shango....i was always more into the evil/bad guys type of characters in movies, and loved horror movies....so him and Taker appearing in the same 2 year span was like a blessing to me...
