Ok, been looking at WFPF and got to thinking, I wonder if there is anyone out there that would like to do a multi owner fed. I tried this a bit with another member and it was pretty good although it never really got off the ground.
THE IDEAS:
1. You would have one fed( like WWE)
2. Each person would have different show( smackdown, Raw, heat, etc) and that person would run that show
or
Someone could take their current fed..ie..WWEML, and branch off assigning different people shows.
WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE:
FED NAME: WWE
SMACKDOWN-DESKJET
CM punk
hhh
hbk
taker
sonjay dutt
RAW: Pooky
Undertaker
KAne
Shane Mcmahon
aj styles
HEAT: mallet
Stone cold
Curt hennig
lex luger
Sandman
rhino
THE FACTORS INVOLVED:
1. You could have a draft or just pick top 5 guys each person wants, then hold a draft for the rest. or just pick/assign guys you want. It works better when people are flexible.
2. Since their are more than one pic fedder involved you can have crossing storylines, trades, etc...of course this would have to be worked out amongst yourselves.
3. If you have multiple pic fedders involved...you each could do 1 or two matches. Then..
Show all the shows on one day, then the fans see at least 3-6 matches(even though it's different shows).
4. Showing the shows all on one day will give you the sense of the Wrestling WARS again.
5. You can do different genres of shows if you want...Smackdown=Divas show, RAW=Legends show, etc
SOME THINGS TO CONSIDER:
1. This will take time, effort, and organization amongst all parties involved
2. The more people involved, the more planning, but perhaps the less shows you need to do.
3. All pic fedders involved will have to work together to get ideas out.
4. You can make as many or as few matches as you want for your show becasue it will go along with the other shows on the same day.
So....It takes some planning, but I think this is a good idea for those struggling to do a complete show, or have some friends here you'd like to partner up with.
So....If anyone is looking to expand their current fed or start a new one with this concept in mind...post your proposals here...I may be game
