The Oldest rivalry in WFCW Beatdown would come to a close as the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels faces his long time arch-rival The Phenomenal AJ styles in a "Loser leaves WFCW" match this month on WFigs Figamania.
Shawn Michaels Has been the very first X-title holder in WFCW Beatdown history with a win over AJ Styles. Since then, AJ Styles went on a personal vendetta against Michaels and interfered almost, if not all, matches HBK is in.
Styles finally got his revenge during WFCW's first PPV FREAKMANIA when he costed HBK the x-title with an interference during the match. At the same time, Randy orton was crowned new X-title champion.
HBK got even when he caused Styles his no.1 contender match loss against CM Punk at Beatdown:aftermath.
AJ styles again was a factor to HBK's no.1 title shot at the same tournament when he distracted shawn michaels making him a victim to an unsuspected RKO during the no.1 contender finals at beatdown thus giving the slot to CM Punk.
Beatdown certainly is not big enough for the both of them as general manager Wilson Fisk arranged a "loser leaves WFCW" match to end this long time rivalry.
