Ok first off I know how a lot of people dont read a post they just see the title and fly off the wall, so read....I am not saying Lesnar is the greatest of all time!!!!
Now what I am saying is speaking hypothetically, just how good could Lesnar have been if he had stayed in the WWE? In one year he captured 3 of the biggest accomplishments in wrestling (WWE Champion, Royal Rumble Winner, King of the Ring). He dominated and destroyed guys like Hardy Boyz, Hulk Hogan, Undertaker, The Rock, Big Show, Kurt Angle, and yes...Even John Cena. Could Lesnar have been "the man" in the wwe. Could/Would he have been the top guy over Cena, Orton and possibly even Triple H? Where would Lesnar's legacy have been had he stayed for longer then 3 years?

Lesnar was easily the most athletic big man I've ever seen in pro wrestling. Seriosuly, he was a freak of nature. It's sad that he left when he did because he actually developed into a pretty charasmatic guy, and his "crazy/dominant heel" gimmick was entertaining as hell. 2002-2003 was my favorite WWE "era," and Lesnar was a huge part of it. Had he stayed, he would have still been the top star in the company, and that includes Cena in the talk. Cena would appeal to the little kids, but Lesnar would appeal to all the other fans who are sick of Cena.

It is a shame he left so soon. He was awesome and I think he'd still be a top heel for sure. There are a lot of good matches he could have had had he stayed. Shame.  |

Looking solely at his time in WWE, no, of course not, but (as I believe the point is you are trying to make), looking at who he was during that time, he very well could be. He had the look, the ability, the IT factor, he had it all. He was the total package and he used his abilities well. Future HoF'er if his career was longer (and even then he might still go in the WWE HoF one day for all we know)

i don't know if he'd be THE greatest ever,but i think he'd definitely be in the top 5.... i magine after he was eventually drafted to Raw he'd have multiple World Title wins as well....

He was something very special. The only two questions about him are #1) Would he have continued to get better on the mic? #2) Would he have gotten to the point where like HBK/Flair, he could carry anyone to a great match? I'm not sure about those but doing the things he could do at his size set him far and above other wrestlers of the same body type. |

About carrying people to great matches, I think Lesnar already had that ability. For example, he carried Big Show to some of the greatest matches of his career. Lesnar fought alot of great wrestlers in Angle, Benoit, Guerrero, etc...and never really had a terrible match IMO(well, except for his PPV matchs w/ Hardcore Holly and Goldberg).

If he stayed, I think he could be where Batista ended up, however no one will ever know. If Lesnar was still in WWE would Cena have gotten pushed? Would Batista have gotten pushed? Really, its a strange thing, Lesnar seemed to be being built as the next main heel, until NWO04, his character was great, and I think he could have pulled off the same character for a number of years, however thinking about it, I think he would have gotten stale, much like Batista did, Cena did, Rey did, Orton did, everyone. Theres only a certain number of times you can watch an animal either destroy anyone, or get his comeuppance.

He was certainly working with lesser talent and making them look better. The guy just hit me as the complete package. You could compare bits and pieces of him to the greats of the 80s. He was built like Hulk Hogan, but better. He could actually work a match like Ric Flair (but because of his background), he could do it better. Just like Randy Savage, heel or face he was completely over. Much like the Warrior, his mic skills were not perfect but it never hindered his ability. |

I think he would have been maybe in the top 5 if not the best. I was a huge fan and when I got my first fig of him I was psyched. He was an awesome as a face and a heel. I loved his heel turn on Kurt Angle with Mcmahon in 2003. It's a pity when he left when he did because I don't think Batista or Cena would have gotten as big as they did

Lesnar was the #1 guy in the company. Batista, while dominant in 2005, was never seen as the undisputed #1 guy in the company, atleast IMO. From 2002-2003, it's clear that the #1 guy was Lesnar, and had he stayed, I think that he'd be right up their w/ Cena in popularity. It's clear that older fans want somebody to counter the "Super-Cena" gimmick, and I think that Lesnar would have been that answer. |

Not at all.
His heart wouldn't have been in it so why bother? He wanted to do other things. If he didn't want to wrestle, imagine if he stayed, he wouldn't have gave it 100%.

I dont think you get what Im asking Slap. Im saying if he wanted to stay, he didnt want to do all the football/mma whatever stuff. He wanted to spend the next 15-20 years as a pro wrestler, could his size, in ring talent and charisma have made him the best ever? |
