Question about JusToys Stretch figures

While looking at my 1994 JusToys Stretch Lex Luger figure I noticed that the figure had been leaking some sort of black fluid in the package. Apparently it leaked from a small hole near it's feet. The fluid had now semi-hardened. Strange things is that I have never opened the package, so I could not understand why there would be a hole in the figure.

Obviously the figure is now useless to me and I will seek to replace....

My Bret Hart stretch figure still looks excellent.

Wanted know if other people with the stretch figure have had simular experiences.

i had a stretch armstrong figure when i was 10 and the same thing happened to it..i had it in a tote with some wrestling cards and i didnt know that it was leaking .it go all over my cards and i had to throw them away..i guess those arent made to last forever...wonder if anyone here has had that problem with the ljn stretch figures..that way we would know if it is caused by age.

One of my LJN Stretch'ems was leaking small anthrax-like white powder.

The JusToys Luger was leaking some sort of thick oil.

Guess neither survived time.

lol stretch armstrong was leaking this clear stuff that was like glue.i think it said on the back of his package that you should put a bandaid on him if that was to happen..lol

yeah STOM my bret leaked black **** too, although mine was open not moc. And ya the old stretchem's had flour type substances in them, OH and seeing as how you're seeking to replace ur luger, I'll take him off of your hands if you no longer want him

What would you want with him though?

I have opened up the package to see what I can salvage. Only things worth saving are the plastic head, the USA trunks and the trading card.

I received a Bret Hart Stretch figure (loose) as an added gift from a seller on eBay just this past summer.

Mine has some leakage around his neck, staining the cloth tanktop, but nothing too serious like yours.

Man I had both Bret & Luger. I really wished they'd have come out with the Razor & Diesel strech-ems. There was that one pic floating around for a while, I belive of both Hall & Nash holding the figures.

I've got like 20 of them MOC from the various series' and haven't noticed that problem. That sucks though, and makes me wanna go check my packages now.

..... JusToys only made 2 stretch'ems...Luger and Bret
