My guess is he got drunk and kissed Linda or tried to steal Linda from him. Yeah that sounds crazy but I don't know what else it could be.

I've always wanted to hear these rumors thanks for starting this thread Joker. Some crazy stories for sure. BTW, what shoots have ever stated Hogan standing up Vince for money? NEVER heard this and I dont believe it. Hogan was WAAAAY too savvy business wise to leave anything for the last minute like that-especially money. now maybe something like this happened post 2002 but I doubt it happened from 84-93. Never heard anything about Hogan standing up Vince for money but he constantly would pull political strings to get himself the title or the main event. Such pulling a creative control card to get Slaughter the title so he could get it off him at WM7, Winning the title at WM9 and stuff. Hogan, while great, was a political douche. |

I didn't say he held Vince up necessarily for money (although I do remember hearing this a few years ago). But he would often threaten to leave the WWF if he didn't get what he wanted (I've heard it in both spoken and written interviews from people in the business).

I have a feeling that one day WWE will put out a documentary dvd for Macho Man, and Vince will say what happened there... Because I'm sure he's willing to reveal the secret i there's money to be made from it.
It's just too bad the last set wasn't a doc, they could have actually had Macho Man speak. I also wonder who they would have on it in general.
