We all know, and most of us love the guy, as Sandman; but what do you guys think of him as Hak?
I've recently been watching videos of him, and I can't get into the character. Still, I'm glad he existed under this name, because the Hak figure was cool xD

As a kid I loved him. But then rewatching some of his matches they weren't so hot. Although his manager......she was hott lol.

was the Hak character any different from the Sandman character? I never really watched ECW or WWECW so I'm only familiar with Hak, but I assumed the character was basically the same.

Sandman was alot more edgy. Think Stone Cold late 90's. Did what he wanted. Said what he wanted. Drank on the way to the ring, crushed beer cans on his head. Had better matches. Didn't look as funny. |

I think had he kept his edgyness from ECW combined with the Hak wrestling style with more hardcore/weapons; he could've become the biggest thing in WCW hardcore wise

Sandman/Hak was a perfect character for ECW but he'd never amount to anything serious, no matter what, in companies like WWF or WCW.

Heyman was an excellent booker-no doubt.outside of ECW all you have to do is look at his booking run on SD! and the original One Night stand. one of the reasons I hate Stephanie mcmahon with a passion is her constant poisoning of Heymans ideas.  in Bitch. |
