That's actually a really good question. I don't think he did in the WWF, but it may have happened in WCW.

Unfortunately, he never did in WWF or WCW! He did beat Hogan by countout a few times in the late '80s when Hogan was champion. It's a shame that he never got to pin Hogan at least once!

I was watching a show last night on HDnet and it was a guy interviewing Hulk Hogan, it was fairly recent cause he brought up the fact HTM was spreading rumors about him leaving TNA for WWE. When asked who the greatest wrestler was he ever faced, Hogan responded "Randy Savage".....I thought that was pretty cool. He actually discussed Savage a bit in the interview, didnt say one bad word about him...well not out of the norm that everyone else says about him (Like being protective of Liz etc)

No dammit! Still to this day I hold a grudge against Hogan for beating Savage at WM5. It broke my young naive heart. Plus I believe in wCw Savage had two brief runs as champion that were both ended by Hogan.

Twice beaten by Flair and twice beaten by Hogan Yeah I knew Savage had four wCw reigns. I was trying to point out that both reigns that ended to Hogan were very brief for Savage (Sorry, Having a hell of a time phrasing that properly ) I think one of them he won it in a steel cage over Sting & lost it to Hogan the next night. Complete B.S.

was savage booked to go over hogan at mania 5 ever? Highly doubtful. If it wasnt for Hogan making movies he would have probably been the champ from 1984-1993

I seem to remember reading about a house show where Savage pinned Hogan in about '86. I may or may not be remembering this correctly, but I don't think the WWF aired it or acknowledged it if it did indeed happen.

was savage booked to go over hogan at mania 5 ever? Nope.the WM5 main event of Hogan vs Savage was planned in summer 88 and never changed.Savage was always gonna turn on Hogan and Hogan was always gonna get his revenge. and it didnt dissapoint.WM 5 is one of my faves ever because of this match and the build

Hogan winning would have made most sense. Would have been anticlimactic as f*ck if Savage the heel had won and dominated Elizabeth. Hogan winning freed Elizabeth. End of story.
