who the best WWF tag team of all time is. Their first title reign was 15 months and 9 days in a time where the WWF tag team division included, Hart Foundation, British Bulldogs, Killer Bees, Powers of Pain, Strike Force, Brain Busters, Rockers, Rougeau's, etc. Then for good measure they won it two more times, once for 2+ months then again for roughly 5 months. Now days even with a weak tag division a 5 month reign is a loooong time. Demoliton #1 bar none, to heck with London and Spanky

They are my favorite tag-team of all-time. London & Kendrick were and are a great team, but their reign as champs got extremely boring after 6-7 months. It just got tedious. Demoltion are the best. No question about it.

For WWF it would be hard to argue as far as success anyone else but Demolition.

Sorry but i always found them as Road Warrior/L.O.D. rip offs. To an extent they were, but at the same time, they had their own style and presence which was different than The Road Warriors.

Personally, I never felt it was an issue whether they ripped off The Road Warriors or not (and yes, at first, they were intended that way... although they did grow into their own gimmicks after a while).
I was always a fan of the Road Warriors and Demolition both. I don't really care where the gimmick idea came from... I only care that they both kept me entertained.

Funny that you guys would mention that. Right now as we speak I am watching Summerslam 1990 with The Hart Foundation vs Demolition (Crush and Smash).
Excellent match btw.

I first thought of them as Road Warrior ripe offs as I loved themBut after a while they showed they were more than the other guys with face paint.they had the awesome entrance music and then went in and kicked ass. They may not be #1 in my book but noone really is.I has a top 5 favs with no team meaning more or less to me.

BAR NONE
i always prefered them to LOD, dont get me wrong the road warriors were the originators of what they did, and always had an awesome click in th ring and out..
but demo had something else.... lod's spikes were cool, but demo had FULL costumes... the masks... whooo. I never got the crush aspect, he was cool, but ax was the leader in my eyes, and they lacked direction after he was sidelined.
Also... they were never buried, they did well and then hung up their wwf boots without having their name dragged through dirt (like lod and the hawk drinking problem).
And they never came back in any gimmick battle royals.
They also had fairly successful singles careers... Doink, Repo man and all of crush's aka's.
great... infact, the best.

Demoliton #1 bar none, to heck with London and Spanky i think this guy is my new best friend i could'nt agree more!!!!!!!!! but ad far as the l.o.d rip off thing goes, think of it this way demolition may be considered a rip off to some but they didn't no sell all the time like l.o.d did and i feel they had better back and forth chemisrty with there opposing team and all in al had better matches!! also look were lod came from most of those tag divisions didn't have jack squat but lod and the free birds so to me demo is the best of all time!! also like someone else said demo had the FULL COSTUME!!!! and then when lod 2000 cam out with masks???HMM makes me think who was really ripping off of who!!!!!!!

Hart Foundation is my all-time favorite. Demolition, however is the most successful as far as tag teams are concerned. Good points.

They are not LOD/Road Warrior ripoffs. They never were and nvever will be. They don't even look like the Road Warriors.
The Powers of Pain were the ripoffs. They had the same paint and hair cuts as the Road Warriors.

Talent-wise, no one matches the Hart Brothers and Steiner Brothers. Team-wise, hmmmmm... that gets me thinking. It's either Demolition or Hart Foundation.

Demolition had no talent. Both those guys went on to do nothing after they stop teaming. But they were really cool looking back in the day.

Personally, I prefer Edge & Christian, but like others have said, there's no arguing that they are one of the most successful tag teams of all-time.
