Seems like you are describing wrestlers who are in it for the money. We spend tons of money on wrestling, why can't we be upset? Why can't we withhold our money or time because we don't like something they are doing? They do need to be told and shown when they make bad decisions and rewarded when they make good ones. You can, but do you think they care? Most of the booking decisions in the past few years would indicate that WWE is doing what it wants, not what YOU want. And if I had a dime for every time an online fan talked about boycotts, protests and complaints, only for it all to die down be forgotten about in a week's time, I'd be purchasing this website. How? By being practical and realistic and not ridiculously emotional like the rest of you? So because they don't care what we think means we shouldn't care at all? Because you think you are so awesome for having talked to wrestlers and laughed at 'marks' for their overreacting. You are being condescending as well.

To IMAW,
So, because you met some wrestlers and talked to one who cares more about his paycheck than the fans, you consider yourself some kind of "insider" and have decided to look down on the rest of us?
Like Slappy said, get over yourself.
Some people may be are relating this to the death of a loved one. If that's true, than those are the people who are taking it too seriously. The majority of us are simply pissed of Christian fans who believe that he deserves better than this.
So, take your knowledge of "inside jokes" back to your blog and just let us all be pissed for a while. It's not doing you any personal harm, so why do you care so damn much?

I don't care if you're pissed or not, God knows I've been pissed many times at some of WWE's booking decisions. Some of the reactions are ridiculous, that's all I'm saying, and I'm sticking to that.

Yeah, some of them are. We get that. That one guy saying he would hire an assassin? Yeah, that was embarrassing.
That's not going to stop guys like me (long-time or life-time Christian fans) from being angry at this decision. We're just venting our frustrations.

I am major pissed like everyone, but I can't just see this being a way to get the title on Orton, or that Christian is just a transitional champion. Well, I mean he kind of is right now, but i just can't see him going back to the mid-card now never to be seen in the main event again, and that he got his 15 minutes of fame with the belt. This has to be all part of a bigger picture, and maybe Christian will turn heel to feud with Orton. Wasn't a Christian heel turn called off because of Edge's retirement? A heel turn would of took time and not put him in the main event immediately, but now with Edge's retirement and his title win, he is looked at as main event or at least he should be. Now a heel turn can come fast and keep him at the top since all the mushy Edge stuff put him in the title picture so quickly. We'll see though.

And to add, honestly it wouldn't make since and would hurt his character for him NOT to turn heel now. From a storyline standpoint, years of hard work, living in the shadow of Edge, finally winning the big one, losing it within a week. He would look so stupid to stay face and go to midcard. Even if they send him back to mid-card he still needs to be heel.

How can that not be a way for Orton to get the title? Christian was a transitional champion. I know that, what I mean is that there is more to it than JUST getting the title on Orton. I'll be wrong if Christian goes back to doing what he was before, but if he stays in the main event and even eventually gets the belt back, then the title change on SD! this Friday wouldn't of just been to put the title on Orton, it would of been that PLUS getting Christian into a top feud and further solidifying him as a major player. But the way i hear their going to market SD! around Orton, I doubt Christian continues to be a focus point of SD!. It sucks because his match vs. Del Rio Sunday was better than any match Orton or Cena has had all year, his promo about finally having the chance to get the title was better than anything Cena or Orton has done all year, but they "just don't see him as a top player in WWE" Pathetic. WWE has me at the end of my rope for the first time ever after watching practically my whole life.

WWE has me at the end of my rope for the first time ever after watching practically my whole life. I don't agree about Cena because I still maintain that he's one of the best talkers in the industry, however, you've pretty much nailed it. I've never been one of those 'I give up on the WWE' types, never will be. They've made terrible booking decisions in the past, failed to push guys I like and made several other mistakes which make the show less enjoyable. However, I had so much invested into Christian's match on Sunday. It meant A LOT to me (like many of us) that he'd possibly be going away with gold. Now, I was 50/50 with the outcome of the match, but to see him finally go away with the big one was wonderful. I feel personally hurt by the decision the WWE has made. You don't want to push Christian? fine. But to have him win that title at ER, with all the f*cking fanfare of his best friend coming out and celebrating his first title win. It's a joke. It does nothing for Christian. It does nothing for Orton. You want Orton to be the top face of your show? put him in a program and make him earn that place just like everyone else has to do. You wouldn't have seen them take that belt off Miz so abruptly because it seems they actually have some respect for him.

so is it confirmed if Christian is injured or not as I still find this decision a disgrace if he is fine.

To be fair, you can't do that much with Christian as World Champion that's new and appealing to draw big ratings.

Despite the Orton picture in my signature, I am not the world's biggest Orton sympathizer. As a matter of fact, I'm as disappointed/angry about Christian losing as anyone. I've been a huge fan since his run with Edge in the late 90's. That said, I don't understand the hate here. First, Christian won the title for two reasons: Edge retired and they needed to keep the World Championship on Smackdown. Regardless of what any of us Christian fans think, this was not meant to be the push we have all waited for.
At the same time, his loss could mean a major main event push as a heel is in the works. No one seems to be mentioning the interview that took place before the match, in which the interviewer asked Teddy Long if it was fair for Christian to have to defend the title just days after a ladder match. The writers created a reason for Christian's loss, rather than have him lose a ton of momentum by just losing from out of nowhere. I hate that his reign was so short but at the same time, this could lead to a far more sustained push for him as a heel, rather than a pity title reign that was destined to be short from the start.

To be fair, you can't do that much with Christian as World Champion that's new and appealing to draw big ratings. You mean Orton? Exactly, who the hell can Orton feud with? This isn't about being pissed over a story line. I was a kid that was pissed when Stone Cold threw Kurt Angle's medals into a river. This goes so much deeper. This is about a man realizing the dream that he's been trying to get to his entire life only to have it swept out from under him. The past 37 years of his life have been in vain unless he accomplishes the one thing he's wanted his entire life. If a wrestler doesn't care about that or remember the event that they won their first major title at, then they don't deserve to even be in the ring.
