I got back into wrestling back in 2008, and this is the first time in that period that I've been truly pissed off. Christian is one of the most talented guys on the roster and the most deserving of a lengthy championship reign. Instead, Vince pulls a fast one on us and takes the title off of him two days after. Christian holding the championship on the ladder at Extreme Rules was one of my favorite moments in wrestling history, but it doesn't mean sh*t anymore. I get that Orton is the most over person on SmackDown, but that doesn't mean that he needs to be the champion as soon as he steps foot onto the show. I understand that this may lead to a Christian heel turn and he'll feud with Orton for a bit, but do you honestly believe that he'll regain the title in that feud? Seriously, this company. this company so much.

ing joke. This is why WWE is not as good as it used to be as they are scared to keep the titles off Orton/Cena for a long time. Kinda like how they didnt want to take the titles off Hogan and Hart in the 80s and 90s right?

I hate how people make fun of those who vent their emotions. Sorry for being passionate about the sport.
Anyway - I'm sure Christian cares a lot more than his Internet fans. He's worked his way to the top, put in so much sacrifice and his dream lasts two days? Of course he cares.
First and foremost, the fact that Orton has already won the World Heavyweight Championship once again further strips it off credibility. RAW superstar comes over, wins title on first show yada yada yada. It's stupid. Christian's run was set to be a passionate one, to display one man's rise to superstardom, and instead Orton just comes in and takes the belt.
Awful move on WWE's part as a whole. Many people paid for Extreme Rules solely to see Christian vs Del Rio. WWE don't understand that. Americans pay $50, right? And then two days later the belt switches on a free show? What is this, TNA?
Once again demonstrates their lack of faith in Christian. If they don't trust him to carry the title, don't put him in the main event and most certainly do not have him win the strap at Extreme Rules. Unless it's Orton vs Sheamus for the World Title at Over The Limit I won't be purchasing, you can quote me.

It was mentioned in the other thread, but I wouldn't doubt all of this was Randy's "reward" for having to go to Smackdown. He could have easily declined and that would have allowed Christian to have the reign he truly deserves. Goes to show the kind of guy he truly his, a ing selfish prick who's self-consciences about his spot in the company.

I don't even know what to say about this. I mean if it's true about Christian turning heel he'll likely job to Orton for a few months and then drift off back to the mid-card.
We all know that this was Christian's ONLY chance at a title reign. 2 DAYS? 2 DAYS?
Orton DID not need the World Title. He could of easily declined it. What would the WWE of done if he declined it? Fire him? HA.
I was actually looking foward to watching Smackdown for the next few months while Christian was champ but that's not happening now.

You're damn right I'm mad. Just goes to show that no matter how hard you work or badly you want something, dreams don't come true. There's always going to be someone to kill your passion for living.

There's rumors that Christian re-injured a pectoral muscle at Extreme Rules and had to drop the belt ASAP for surgery. If that's the case, won't you guys all feel a little bit silly? Especially the ones "blaming" Orton.

Which would suck because he'd be out for a while again but that would mean he would definitely get the title again.

Well that ride was way to short. Hope to God there's a storyline involved with this. Maybe Christian turns heel because of Orton taking away his dream of being champion?

Man, you must be some of the most negative people in the world. Really. "We all know" and "____ will probably happen", blah blah blah.
If the rumors of Christian being injured are indeed true, you're all going to look like idiots. If it leads to a Christian/Orton feud, where Christian gets put over in the end... you're all going to look like idiots.

Why didn't the crowd cheer for Mark Henry when given the choice of who to get the title shot

I could see him being injured. That ladder match at Extreme Rules was brutal.

It's perfectly logical and rational that he is injured. Something that apparently, a lot of internet fans are not.
The belt was passed to a fellow babyface, not a heel. It happened 48hrs after WWE took the time to build up a dramatic, successful title win for him. And it happened without warning or build up.
To me, that smacks of "last minute decision". Usual cause for those types of decision? Injury.
All this silly cussing, swearing, melodramatic yelling and childish "I'm never watching again!!!" "Screw you Orton!!!" nonsense before anyone even really knows all the facts is cringeworthy.

If he's had drop it because he's injured its a damn shame but atleast he'll be back soon and you can bet WWE will give him the belt again soon after.
If WWE made him drop it and he isn't injured... I just don't even know. I'd be extremely dissapointed.

WWE can swivel for just flat-out giving me my worst fears about the draft and Smackdown. Orton taking the belt from Christian I expected, did I expect them to drag it to OTL then do it, yeah but now its done and we still have OTL to come to see if they do anything else there. Sheamus over Bryan is literally all I saw coming after the SDraft.
There is a whole train load of guys on Smackdown that they would rather push over Christian & Daniel Bryan. And they suck. It simply begs the question why they ever took the US Championship off of Bryan since he could have stayed on Raw with the belt and have Sheamus taken away from him to SD eventually who could have then gone on to face the championship credibility vortex Kofi Kingston on SD over the Intercontinental championship which Barrett doesn't really need anyway.
Swivel WWE. Swivel.

You all get on Christian fans for going the "such and such will happen, and I know it" route, yet some of you are coming in here saying that "he got injured, and that's the only explanation behind this." No one knows for sure what happened yet. Oh, and excuse us for showing a little bit of emotion. God forbid we feel happy for a guy finally getting to hold the World Title. I'm so sorry if my passion for wrestling happened to offend you.

The only problem with the theory of him being injured is the fact that apparently him and Orton had a very physical match. That wouldn't happen if he were injured.

Yeah, I'm going to chalk this up as:
A. A way to get people to watch the first SD after the draft. B. A way to get people interested in the title situation on SD, since it appears obvious Christian would win C. A way to start a very interesting feud.
I understand that Christian got the title on Sunday, and lost it on Tuesday/Friday. I was pissed when Punk took the title off Hardy, only to lose it a month later. But look how that feud turned out. Why not wait this one out at least another week before damning the WWE and what not?

Nobody knows the facts and reasons yet, which was the point I was making. All this hysteria from a bunch of melodramatic males might all be a moot point. Why not wait and see where it's headed before getting your panties in a wad?
