Having him back in 1998 was definitely a surprise. I want that shirt.. haha. Would you mind posting a link? www.bewild.com/nefowettwtow.htmlcgi.EBAY LINK NOT ALLOWED/WWF-Twin-Towers-Wrestling-Mens-T-Shirt-Never-Forget-/250704722545?pt=US_Mens_Tshirts&var=&hash=item800f7ab843#ht_2128wt_905 Here's a couple of links I found. He was really good in his first WWF run, and when he came back in the black attire he was pretty bad ass. But for some reason, everything he did in WCW sucked. It was weird how he such a jobber there (Guardian, Big Boss, Big Bubba, Ray Traylor, etc) but he was so cool in the WWF. I think a lot of it had to do with the fact that everyone still saw him as Big Bossman. I know when he came in WCW as The Boss and still had the cop gimmick, I thought "yes, he's still the man".....Then he changed and had a jacket and a beret and crap and was like a oversized boy scout.

Ray had put on alot of weight when I saw him in July '04. He had a string of bad luck with having his rotator cuff tore while working a match in OVW in late '02, losing his best friend, Curt Hennig in Feb. '03, and right when he had recovered from his injury, he got in a motorcycle accident by hitting a deer in the summer of '03. He ran unsuccessfully for the Commissioner in the county where he lived in July '04 and on top of all that his Mom passed away shortly before he died. So he was having to deal with so much stress!
The Intercontinental title would've been so great on Bossman! The great feud that he had with Bobby Heenan & The Heenan Family should've included BBM winning the I-C belt at WM7, he had went through every member of The Heenan Family and the fact that Andre the Giant was in Bossman's corner for the Mania match with Perfect was even more reason that Bossman should've been the champ at WM7!!! Another great time that the WWE should've put the I-C belt on him was in April '99 when he was part of Team Corporate and he was "scheduled" to face Goldust for the Intercontinental championship, but they booked him to take The Godfather's Ho's so that Godfather could take his place in the match and defeat Goldust for the title. Bossman taking the Hos was entertaining, but I'd prefered to have seen him take the I-C strap!

The Twin Towers will always be one of my favorite tag teams ever. I was googling pictures of The Twin Towers that I could post in this thread, when I came across this awesome T-Shirt: I gotta have this haha I was going to post that picture. I really want that shirt But yeah, I was a huge Bossman fan as a kid. He was incredibly agile for a guy his size... Last month when we went to Wrestlemania we accidentally went to Cobb County at one point and I started singing his theme song. The other people in the van gave me strange looks.

Boss Man was and always has been one of my favourite wrestlers. His return in 1998 was brilliant and he looked to be in good shape.
He was such a bastard in 1999, with killing and feeding Pepper to Al Snow, and dragging Big Show's dad's coffin through the cemetery. One of the all time great heels.

I loved the Bossman. Especially when he was in the WWF/WWE. He always felt more important there than he did in the NWA or wCw. Even his return was ten times better than his poor wCw run. I'm hoping Mattel announces they signed him soon, so I can buy Akeem. Not a huge fan of the Akeem gimmick alone but I did like the Towers. Love their match against the Rocker at WM5. The Twin Towers will always be one of my favorite tag teams ever. I was googling pictures of The Twin Towers that I could post in this thread, when I came across this awesome T-Shirt: I gotta have this haha I saw that shirt a few days ago and while I loved it I didn't get the whole Twin Towers reference. But now it's a must have.

I hope that they'll announce a Bossman figure soon! It's too bad that he wasn't in the Legends series 5 set with Akeem! The Twin Towers vs Rockers match is one of my favorite Mania matches!
