Just thinkin' about this show, and how I used to watch it EVERY week. I miss having it Raw/Smackdown against Nitro/Thunder and thinkin' bout which one was better.
Anyone have any good memories/stories of Thunder?

Sting vs. Scott Steiner. Other than that most of the stuff on Thunder was a wash. Oh I think the other thing was when Sting had to come out after Starrcade on Thunder.

Was the tag team cage match where benoit did the head butt off the top of the cage on thunder, that was pure insanity.

Yeah, I think that was on Thunder. Benoit did some GREAT stuff in WCW.

yeah I used to enjoy Thunder sometimes but yeah it really was the B show.
Bischoff was against its creation but he was ultimately shouted down.Thunder just morphed into the "B" show because all the hot matches and angles were kept for Nitro when they seen the war was slipping away from them.

Come to think of it, I think alot of the reason I liked it so much was the fact that it was the b-show. Sting/Hogan wasn't shoved down my throat EVERY WEEK on Thunder xD

I loved the quantity and quality of matches for Thunder. If you wanted entertainment with a blend of quality, you watched Nitro. If you wanted wrestling with a blend of entertainment, it was Thunder. Exciting undercard action.

one of my fav. moments was the new blood/millionares club rumble in which randy savage made his infamous return
jarrett appearing as those mexican wrestlers to attack sting with the guitar.
the filthy animals matches.
that's what strikes out to me first.

Randy Savage vs Chris Adams on the very first episode
Buff Bagwell breaking his neck. Not a pleasant event, but not a forgettable one either.
