jerichos stated before he hates when wrestlers constantly change their theme songs,but hes not opposed to remixes evidently.

I don't think the theme fits him at all. I don't think any of those forcible entry songs fit the characters at all.
Kane's was the most annoying
That is something I'd put at the end of a DVD of his though, during the credits for when he finally retires.

I think he only used it to promote the new WWE CD that was out.....kinda like how they gave him some crap theme in Smackdown vs. RAW 2008 or 2009 I think it was when he wasn't given his real theme.

The lyrics didn't matter, Kane was usually in the ring by the time the singing started. The bigger atrocity was the entrance video used by Jericho during that timeperiod. "HAY, I'M RUNNIN' DOWN A BLUE WIRE TUBE! WHAT'S THAT TO THE LEFT? *smashes into Jericho silhouette*" |

it is probably the same reason HBK never changed his theme the original is too recognizable

My guess: Jericho didnt like it enough to make it a full time theme, but there was probably an agreement to at least one live performance of it and agreeing to put it on CD.
