Don't know if this was reported yet,
We are sad to report that on his Twitter account Percy Pringle announced this morning that Sir Oliver Humperdink passed away last evening after battling cancer. We want to send our condolences along to his friends and family.

I need to see his work because I truthfully have never seen much of him. But know the name well and have heard good things.

The guy was living animation. I mean that in the most respectful way. His whole demeanor on screen was indicative of someone born for the wrestling biz.
RIP, Dink. Go with God.

As a kid, I always thought he tried to be too much like Lou Albano. That said, he was still fantastic and probably could have been one of the best of all time had he found his own voice more. that's true of a lot of people in the biz though.
I never got why they brought him in to WWF when he barely did anything, but it was cool to see him, and I'm sure he got some nice paychecks.
The point is, he was pretty great and will be sorely missed. Managers are one thing WWE really needs to bring back. they just added so much more to the product.
I'll probably go on youtube and watch some old slips tomorrow.
