I liked Shamrock and he was really over in 1997/1998 as a face. He was legit scary when he "snapped" and everybody ate that up. He definitely could have been WWF Champion had they given him the chance. His only downfall was promos. He was dreadful on the mic. Truly one of the worst talkers in wrestling history. Although his robot-like delivery was quite comical. He spoke so slow, I remember watching a promo of him and Owen, on youtube in prior to the King of Kings match(Who was the greatest King of the Ringer, with HHH) He was a great wrestler and It would of been awesome if he stayed a bit longer and win the world title!

Yeah, I think if Shamrock had improved on the microphone, and not go back to MMA, he might have been champion at least once. Back in 98 I thought that Shamrock would win it sooner or later after his King of the Ring victory.

I loved Shamrock, still do, his unique moveset and style was awesome. He wasn't quite a technical marvel, yet he wasn't a total brawler and as time went on he became alot more on the technical side, which is why I believe he had some of the best matches of 99. I also believe that Bret would have willingly dropped the belt to him if the MSJ hadn't of happened. I remember reading about Bret wanting to put Ken over, and have him be a new face for the company, sadly he didn't get that far. I definitely agree, but it's not saying a lot.
