Vince McMahon must rolling over in his grave. I'm sure Vince Sr. was after watching that debacle... Vince Sr. has been rolling in his grave since Junior went national and then global.

^ I know. I try. I wish I would've made it my pissbreak, instead of sitting through that mess of a main event. I still can't believe how bad it was...God, that match really ing sucked. If those two are going to main event another PPV, man, I feel sorry for the suckers that will shell out more money to watch that crap all over again.Of which you will no doubt be one. You'd like to think so, but sorry to disappoint you. I haven't ordered a WWE PPV for years. They clearly aren't worth it, as that was proven one more time last night. I just feel bad for the ones that DID shell out $50+ for that fiasco last night. They even said they want their money back, that's how bad it was, in their opinion. Wow....

You said you have barely any interest in wrestling and really don't like it as it is but you keep watching. If you didn't watch what would you do with your time spent complaining?

I felt like there was no climax to any of the angles being built up...the only thing I can think of is maybe just maybe somehow they are gonna run storylines for a whole year to next mania. So many things were off about last night...
I feel like Cena wasnt in to it...you can't put him with someone like Miz and expect them to have a good match. He has to be with a veteran or a proven great wrestler. The match was just bad...with all the build up from the Rock I thought he would have been in the match
Taker and HHH was so slow...but it was good
Punk and Orton was great wish it was longer
Mysterio/Rhodes was great
King/Cole could have been so much better..if they just booked the finish differently...would have liked to see Lawler pull Cole up from the cover after the fistdrop....then give him the piledriver ...then after the beer bash Stone Cold gives Cole the stunner to finish it.
Edge/Del Rio it was a decent match but it seemed like a match that could have been on Raw or Smackdown...and there was no climax with the whold Christian angle.....
the 8 man tag was really short
the mixed tag was real short & I wish Morrison & Ziggler could have tore the house down they def. have the abilities
Only thing I can think of is maybe Edge vs Christian at next mania Rock vs Cena at next mania

got what i expected but i didnt expect a lot, seemed like WWE where playing safe again.
The stage was ok to me, looked good but lacked something like the show.
Nothing seems to be original anymore. Seemed like something was missing from Mania as well. I hate how Mania is built tne most, hyped like nothing else yet there are matches dont last 2 minutes and the world title turns into the intercontinental title in status.
2 titles defended is obsurd to me and to bump Sheamus/Bryan for some stupid segments and a promo that could have been on the DVD was wrong for me. I watched Mania and throughout i waited for that match and if it wasnt for card subject to change i would think of complaining... Think of...
For me, i hate the overuse of lighting and the wider ring area, i dont want loads of lights giving the ring area a blue shimmer, its annnoying and the more space in ring area for some reason takes the experience of watching down for me, dunno why but it does.
In terms of comparison, WM 17 is too high for that so i go by XIX.. And it wasnt as good, i enjoyed it, glad i watched but i feel like there should have been more.
Writters seem to have avatar syndrome, make it looks flashy and big but so a simple storyline, i prefer it the other way round, i hope when guys like HhH and taker retire, writters start doing there job better to put over younger stars.

WrestleMania 1
2 matches over 10 minutes.
Most are around the 4-5-6 minute mark and then you have the 23 second squash.
WrestleMania 2
4 matches over 10 minutes (and that even barely happened as the Hogan/Bundy match only went 10 minutes and 15 seconds)
Every other match with the exception of the battle royal and Ricky Steamboat vs Hercules, they all only went a few minutes with Macho/Steele topping them out at 5 minutes.
WrestleMania 3
2 matches over 10 minutes, Macho/Steamboat and Hogan/Andre.
This event was better as there were no few second matches or any 1 or 2 minute matches. They stayed between 3 1/2 and almost 9 minutes.
WrestleMania 4
3 matches over 10 minutes, one went to a time limit draw of 15 minutes. The other two were the battle royal and the tag title match.
The rest of the matches were between 4 and 9 1/2 minutes with the exception of Gang/Bigelow going 3 minutes.
WrestleMania 5
2 matches over 10 minutes and the Beefcake/Dibiase match was 10 minutes and 1 second.
They go back to their ways of having a 30 second match. It is the last match before the main event. Red Rooster vs Bobby Heenan.
Rest of the matches are between 4 minutes (3:59) and 9 3/4 minutes.
WrestleMania 6
First Mania to have a match last longer than 20 minutes. So that brings the total of matches over 10 minutes to 2 for this event.
A 19 second match, a less than 2 minutes match. Two almost 4 minute matches. The rest are between 4 and 8 minutes with the tag title match going 9 1/2 minutes.
WrestleMania 7
5 matches over 10 minutes, 2 of them over 20.
A match that's less than a minute (59 seconds) a match under 1 1/2 minutes. Two 3 and two 4 minute matches. One 7 minute match and two 8 minute matches.
WrestleMania 8
World Title match was 5th on the card as Hogan/Sid main evented.
4 matches over 10 minutes. A 1 minute match, One 4 minute match, one 5 minute match one 6 minute match and one 8 minute match. 9 matches all together.
WrestleMania 9
4 matches over 10 minutes.
A 21 second main event where the title then changed hands for the second time that night.
Two 8 minute matches, a 3 3/4 minute match and a 7 1/2 minute match.
WrestleMania 10
4 matches over 10 minutes, 1 going over 20.
A 30 second squash match. A 7 3/4 minute match, 3 minute match, 6 minute match and a 9 minute and 49 second match.
WrestleMania 11
7 matches on the card, World title not main eventing as that honor went to a football player.
3 matches over 10 minutes, with the world title match going over 20.
Two 9 minute matches and Two 6 1/2 minute matches.
WrestleMania 12
6 matches but that is because the main event went nearly 62 minutes.
Only one match went under 10 minutes and that was the Warrior/Hunter Hearst Helmsley squash.
WrestleMania 13
7 matches and again only 1 match going under 10 minutes and if it had gone on 15 seconds longer it would have made it to 10 minutes. 2 went over 20 minutes.
WrestleMania 14
And they go back to basics by having 4 matches go over 10 minutes with HBK/Austin going over 20 (20:02). Tag title match went 10 minutes and 1 second.
A nearly 6 minute match a 4 3/4 minute match and a 9 minute match and a battle royal.
WrestleMania 15
10 matches at this event.
3 going over 10 minutes.
Infamous Brawl for All match at this Mania.
Only one match went under 4 minutes (3:58) and it was the tag title match. Matches ranged from 5 to 9 3/4 minutes.
WrestleMania 16
4 matches going over 10 minutes, 1 over 20 and one over 30 which saw a guy not in the match help one of the wrestlers win.
Shortest match was Terri vs Kat with a Hall of Famer in each corner at 2 minutes.
A 7 minute match, 2 9 minute matches and a 4 minute match.
WrestleMania 17
5 matches going over 10 minutes with Rock/Austin going 28 which saw a guy not even in the match helping one of the competitors win the match.
Chyna/Ivory had the shortest match at 2 1/2 minutes.
A 7 minute match, a 3 minute match, a nearly 4 minute match and 8 1/2 minute match and a 9 minute match.
WrestleMania 18
5 matches over 10 minutes.
The rest mainly concentrated around 6 minutes, though we did get a near 10 minute (9:51) match and a 3 minute match where a match for the hardcore title ended in a no contest.
An event where 2 matches went on after the supposed biggest match on the card.
WrestleMania 19
A great wrestler not being on the card instead being forced to defend their title before the event.
5 matches over 15 minutes with 3 over 20.
Shortest was Mysterio/Hardy, other 3 matches were between 7 and 9 3/4 minutes.
WrestleMania 20
6 matches over 10 minutes, 2 over 20.
Shortest match was the Divas match at 2 1/2 minutes.
A nearly 8 minute match, a 6 minute match, nearly 5 minute match and a 7 3/4 minute match featuring the returning Undertaker.
WrestleMania 21
Only 2 matches didn't go over 10 minutes. 2 matches went over 20.
Shortest match was 1 minute long and it was the sumo match.
MITB debuted and Cena and Batista won their first World titles.
WrestleMania 22
5 matches going over 10 minutes with 1 going over 20.
Shortest match was the intergendered handicap match which was near 4 minutes long. Another near 4 minute long match.
A 6 3/4 minute match and 3 9 minute matches.
WrestleMania 23
Ric Flair in the dark match.
4 matches going over 10 minutes, 1 over 20 though MITB was close at 19 minutes.
Shortest match was the divas title match.
A 5 1/2 minute match, 9 minute match and a 6 1/2 minute match.
WrestleMania 24
Ric Flair retires.
Celebrity match went 11 1/2 minutes.
5 matches over 10 minutes, 2 over 20.
Shortest was Kane/Chavo for the ECW title at 12 seconds.
8 1/2 minute match, 7 minute match and a near 6 minute match.
WrestleMania 25
5 matches over 10 minutes, 1 over 20 and 1 over 30.
Shortest was JBL's retirement match where he lost the IC title in 21 seconds to Rey Mysterio.
9 1/2 minute match and a near 9 minute match.
WrestleMania 26
6 matches going over 10 minutes, 1 going nearly 24 (23:59).
Shortest match was the tag title match at 3 minutes and 24 seconds.
A 9 minute match, a 6 1/2 minute match and a 3 minute and 26 second match.
WrestleMania 27
No official times posted yet.

It just occurred to me that if there was anything about the event to really truly be pissed about it's the Cole / Lawler win / loss reversal.
I mean that was just an awful call.

It was far from perfect, I had my high and low points. The main event really should have been Taker vs. TripleH. Miz vs. Cena was really boring and sucked for a WM main event, even with the Rock's involvement.

Mr. Old School is the most negative guy I've ever come across. When you hang out with your friends (assuming your miserable ass has friends) - do you just criticize stuff for the sake of it?
I stayed away from the internet in the lead up and during the show, and I enjoyed it immensely. It might just be coincidence, but I think I benefitted from avoiding so much negativity.

Um...Ok?? $500 is far cry from what I spend and why would you concern yourself with what I buy and how much I spend?? And with the movies I buy, at least I have something to show for my money, where-as what does anyone have to show for that shoddy spectacle last night but an empty pocket with lint in it?? Lol...

Does it ever go through your self-centered mind that maybe - just maybe, people really enjoyed the show and were happy to spend the money? How you enjoy a wrestling show is subjective. You seem to think that your word is gospel and whoever disagrees is some kind of uneducated numpty.

From what I've read in this thread so far, I think it's pretty divided down the middle on how much people enjoyed this show. Alot of people liked it and alot of people didn't like it. Yet, you try to single me out like I'm the ONLY guy that is trashing this event, when that is so far off from the truth, it ain't even funny.
I've read people saying they want their money back, but do you say anything about them?? Nope...Gotta single me out. What a load of crap.
You liked the event. Good for you, that's your take on it. I'm one of the many that didn't like it. If I am being negative, so be it. I ain't the only one, yet you try to make it sound like I am. Whatever...

Maybe it's because we don't even understand why you bothered to watch it, when days before the event you told us all it was a sorry ass show because they didn't book 34 matches. And because some of us have never seen you post a single positive thing about modern day WWE in all the time you've been here. Just move on to something else already. You'll clearly never enjoy anything the WWE will put out anytime soon. It's one thing to be disappointed by a show and another to just bash everything a company does over and over again.

I like posting here. I think it's a great forum. Many people may not like my posts and what I've got to say most of the time, but big deal. Am I supposed to be out to please them?? Don't think so. I'm here to voice MY opinion, which I've got every right to do so. Don't like it?? Tough. Deal with it and move on. And, that's good that you liked the PPV. Good for you. I'm glad you liked it. Unfortunately, I'm one of the many that didn't. I wish I could've liked it more than I did, but it didn't work out that way. Oh well, it is what it is.

I would, once again, like to point out that Alberto Del Rio vs Edge happened at WrestleMania. One on one.
So, no matter how adamant you were in the Royal Rumble thread, Mr. Old School, you were WRONG. And you've yet to acknowledge that fact. Swore up and down that Del Rio would lose his shot before 'Mania, swore that someone else would be added, swore that Del Rio just wasn't ready to go for the World Title at WrestleMania.
And you were WRONG.
