As you know, WCW's first show will be debuting on or around the 12th of this month! With that in mind, I'd like some input on what people would like to see in terms of deciding a World Champion.
A battle royal might be fun, but would likely take up the entire show and not leave much else to do. It's also how USWF started, so I'd probably rather do something slightly different.
It might sound strange, but if I start with a champion already in play, storylines can advance quicker. Of course, this doesn't give us the fun of crowning a first champion.
A simple 6 man tournament would give us a handful of matches to lead up to the PPV and then have a classic WCW Triangle match to decide the champion.
Battle Bowl... I wouldn't do a Lethal Lottery, but I would do a series of singles matches leading to the winners advancing on to the Battle Bowl at SuperBrawl to decide the champion.
