Basically I want to re-live the whole attitude era, as the whole thing was a little difficult to understand when I was 5/6 the first time round. I'm in the middle of downloading the complete Raw is War from '97 and '98, and I was wondering, what was the best Attitude Era PPV in your opinion?

The ultimate WWF Attitude Era PPV in the 20th century in my mind ties between SummerSlam 1998 and WrestleMania XV. SummerSlam has better wrestling on it.

WrestleMania X-7 goes without saying
I'd say for 1998 King of the Ring, SummerSlam, BreakDown and Survivor Series were good. For 1999 Backlash, Fully Loaded, and No Mercy were good. For 2000, every PPV besides WrestleMania and King of the Ring was good/great. For 2001, they were all pretty damn good except for Vengeance. The latter part of the year wasn't as strong as the first half though.

Thats tough.
I say Summerslam 98, WM X-7 is obvious. No Mercy 99 was awesome to me as well. I actually enjoyed KOTR 2000 but thats just me.

Summerslam 2000 is IMO one of the greatest PPVs the WWE ever produced but it gets over looked really great from start to end.

I think every PPV in 2000 was excellent IMO. Could watch them all in a day.

personally i think wrestlemania X7 is the best PPV the WWE ever made its certainly a candidate thats for sure.one of the best stacked cards ever. Austin vs Rock Undertaker vs HHH TLC II Angle vs Benoit Jericho vs Regal Shane vs Vince and the whole excitement about WCW and thats just what springs instantly to mind-so much more greatness on there

Backlash 2000 was fantastic in my mind. A good mix of some good rivalries and comedy (THE SHOWSTER). The Attitude Era in a nutshell in my mind. WMX-7 takes the top for me though
