Ill be honest, this is a lot better then I expected it to be. Its still not perfect but nothing ever is but its pretty good for a first show. One thing I dont care for too much is seeing all the string. Wish you could have edited that part out. The majority of your pictures are good but there is one or two in there that are a lil blurry. Always make sure to use that lil function on your camera that looks like a flower. You'll get clearer pics. You're poses were pretty good but like your pics there's one or two that pop up that are a lil stiff and need some work. Overall Id say it was an extremely good showing for a first show and if you keep it up you'll def have something going for you. Good luck man.

Not a bad start Ben, Besides the string and a few blurry pics this was a great first outing. Your arena Is nicely put together and is light years away from your test match awhile ago. There is a free progam called gimp to edit out the string if you want, but other than that it was very entertaining. Great debut.

Thanks, I have Gimp I just didn't get around to editing the pictures because there were several people who wanted to see the first Main Event Wrestling show. I noticed my blurry pictures and that is because of the Auto Focus feature on my Camera.

I'm not so sure about the comic book presentation, just feels like it's maybe ripping off warsman a little bit, I'd have preferred it to be in the traditional style. I did enjoy the show, the matches were not bad, and some of the poses were really good, even if you didn't edit out the string. Some of the stuff didn't make sense, and I felt the I Quit match was a bit rushed. But for a debut show, it worked well, and I'm interested to see where it goes. Hopefully we get a few more MWA shows up soon, from all the members. Also, do you not have to have "Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal" in the title to qualify for the competiton?

I had a real hard time figuring out that the heck was going on. You need some more transitions between segments. I had no idea who your announcers were. They just randomly said stuff. I heard one of them called Taz, but I never really knew who was doing what aside from what was seen on camera.
The fact that you had a big hardcore match, then followed it up with a main event or ending segment that used most of those same weapons again, more or less killed the heat on both segments. Even if your fed is going to be a hardcore fed, you need to make sure to use some variety. Only use a chair in one seg, if the next is going to feature a table, etc.
Work on that and I think it'll be a good effort. Not a bad start though and some good moves.

I wasn't accusing you of ripping it off, obviously wars didn't invent the comic book haha, i just think maybe the 'traditional' pic fed format would maybe suit your fed better. But, each to their own man - if it puts shows on the board, it's never a bad thing.

Ok, I'm gonna give a general reply here. The pics are pretty clear. I like the comic book style but you need more commentary throughout. Like odb said, I had a tough time following what was going on. The uses of string is good but it needs edited out. Seeing the thread just takes something away from the overall appeal. Perhaps work a bit more on the arena as well and put a jacket on Bischoff!, lol. A solid start to be honest because I've certainly seen worse. Your fed has potential. Keep pluggin away and continue to heed advice from your fellow pic fed bretheren and I'd say you're well on your way. Good Luck.

ARE YOU READY? I SAID....ARE....YOU...RREEEEEAAADDDDYYYY??? Finally, the long-awaited debut of an MWA fed! ;D OK, you do have some nice pics in there, I wish there was more of a build-up to the show, maybe present the card we are about to watch, instead of just BAM! Dolph Ziggler! Also, there were a few strange exchanges that I don't really understand the action, and better commentary would really help that. Also, they could have told us that match was for the Pure Title. I had to lol at the spot monkeyfest opening between R Truth and Morrison, only to have a commentator say "this is REAL wrestling!" Again, the match started off like a normal match, the Miz introduced weapons, and the announcers THEN say "this is completely legal!" It would have been nice to know that to begin with. Wait, who won? OK, I think it's main event time, Funk out and he has disciples? These are things that you could 'teach us' prior to the show or during the pre-match commentary. OK, it's a title belt on a pole match, now I get it, lol. The ending was cool! Wait, that wasn't the main event! One quick interview segment with Jericho, and the match is on! What was that? a side-russian legsweep onto the table by Shawn? Your matches really need better commentary. It seems like you have a standard 2 man crew, let one call the moves, let the other provide "color" analysis. Yikes, Maichaels elbow drops Jericho through a table only to have Y2J no sell it, pop up and give him a codebreaker?!?! HBK says "I quit" to end the match. I'll count Jericho's post match speech as your 2nd interview of the night. I've seen lots of helpful hints dropped in this thread. Not a bad show, but there are a number of things you could do much better. Number one in my book is work on your commentary. CALL THE ACTION, call the moves and holds. Keep trying new things. Thanks for posting! Wars

I already filmed part of the next show in Main Event Wrestling but I have to look it over. Thanks again for reviewing my show.

Not a bad start my freind, i will say get rid of the vcr tapes as guard rails, looks bad, get a jacket for bishoff cause it looks weird, mizes title needs a serious makeover, it looks like something crayola got ahold of, your psoes arent bad, but the hardcore stuff is alright but there was way to much of it, once u use it one time then u kill the gimmick, use it rarely, good start though man!!

I like the potential and thought you had the right idea, but I just wasn't feeling it, dog.[/RandyJackson]
The introduction was pretty sudden and didn't really give me anytime to prepare like a shot of the Arena and the Announcers explaining to me this is the first ever show of MWA would have. I'm not a fan of the Comic Book style, but with Wars', at least he shows the Announcers and gives you a feel for the characters out of the gate, where-as it wasn't really revealed until the final Match that the Commentary team was JR and Taz, and even then, I'm just guessing JR since I saw a "Bahgawd!" in there. I like the team, just show them to me so I know who's constantly talking over the pictures. Same thing sort of applied with Morrison, Miz and Funk, as when they all aligned at certain points throughout the Match, it felt like stuff we should have already known.
I thought the Matches were okay, the string hurt it, but I suppose I understand the need to finish it quickly with the early flack you were receiving for just the idea alone. I actually thought the Championship Miz won was pretty cool looking. I didn't like how the last two Matches were gimmick Matches, even with the Titles on the line. I didn't realize it was a Spin the Wheel, Make a Deal show until you edited the Title after I saw the show, so maybe that's what hurt it for me. The spots were fine for the most part, though I would definitely work out the "Playing with Action Figures" mentality that the Miz/Sydal Match had, as it seemed unrealistic at points. Always a good choice for a World Champion is Chris Jericho, so I look forward to him.
So, to sum everything up, edit out the string which I'm sure you'll do, turn the Tapes around if they don't have labels on them (Otherwise, just put some logos or Black Paper over the White parts), keep progressing the characters and make sure things stay realistic. I'm a fan of gimmick Matches, but hopefully they're done for in MWA until at least the PPV. Great Camera and lighting, keep up the good work on the poses (Thought the Jericho/HBK hair pull was well done, even if it was a little long) and expand things at the start of the show so we don't just go head-first into the show.
Sorry if it sounded harsh, but I think the next show, if lacking gimmick Matches and featuring more Interviews/Promos, will be much better and continue the new venture of MWA heading in the right direction.
