So just thought I would post this here. So what got you peeps into the pic fedding 'industry' (if I can call it that) who? what? inspired you?
Me? I would have to say various pic fedders such as Slash and DJ got me into pic fedding.
Lets hear them.

It was basically a natural evolution from posing for me. I got into posing, and I was always into writing, so I saw that there was a group that combined those two. Also, the pose board used to be a community / family until they all left or stopped. I then realized that the pic fed board had a similar community, so I wanted to get involved. As far as pic fed inspirations, I know I have some, but I don't remember who they were. I used to peruse the pic fed board all the time in 2005 and 2006 but I never followed a single fed. I do remember really digging Eyce's stuff, because he was doing stuff on the pose board at that time also and I would check his fed out from time to time.

Since this is a discussion about pic fedding should it not be in the "pic fed discussion" thread? After all is that not what everyone was crying about not having? Well now we have one again.

I saw your fed on another site Mitch! You got me into it:) Then I joined here, and saw that there was so many other amazing pic fedders like DJ, wwefan, and more recently brm and Tirva!

Just quoting this so it's on record. I used to film little shows called ULTIMATE ACTION FIGURE WRESTLING and I would put the shows together in power point. This had such fantastic matches as farooq vs the undertaker for the world title and great, classic teams like the rock and al snow. Then many years later, I found this place, and I have yet to put out a full show since!

I was thinking though for th reason being it a seperate thread, why not delve deep into our archives of our shows and pull out some VINTAGE shows.
We all had to start somewhere haha

I love watching your older shows, Mitch, as I can see just by watching how much progress you've made since the original show in 09! No more spring ring and video tape set :')!

For me it was Mr. Nrrrg's shows and the classic Royal Rumble STOMWIJF posted. I really liked the depth of Mr. Nrrg's stuff and STOM's use of classic Superstars. Also, it's a fun and creative way to showcase my custom figures, and the closest I can come to "playing" with these figures, lol. ;D

I had a fed before there was an internet. Well, I guess technically they had the net back in the 60's... But whatever. Before it was public.
Once the net evolved, there was a way to take pictures and share, so here I am.

Me and a friend of mine from primary first found this board, we were huge figure collectors. I watched the hell out of FCW when I first found it and did my own kind of WWE style fed but it never made it onto the internet. For Christmas 04 I got the Ring of Poison playset, and thought it was a pretty swish name, and I started it as a text fed, but once i got my old digital camera working I really wanted to make a pic fed, and put together a whole show in one night, and it was horrible, and no longer online, but I got a lot of support from guys on here and it's just grown since then. I've stopped pic fedding for a while at times, but it always drags me back in.

Was looking up NWA stuff years and years ago. Some how one of the logos that popped up on Google images looked like NWA but actually said NWR. Clicked it saw the shows (which were linked here). Stalked this site for about a year before I signed up. Then got into Pic Fedding.
Just think, all the broken promises that Jdash and myself have given......Its all Deskjet's fault!!!

TEXT FED, oh my god yeah, that is where WWEF started guys haha, over on another site wasn't the best but people seemed to like it, then I moved on to taking pictures using a phone camera which to be fair was alright quality and now I'm using a proper camera. God I love pic fedding.

Since this is a discussion about pic fedding should it not be in the "pic fed discussion" thread? After all is that not what everyone was crying about not having? Well now we have one again. You do know this is the pic fed discussion board right? Moreover, I beleive the thread is more for discusssion of current going ons in pic fedding, similar to the TWA discussion thread? I mean, at least that's the impression I got On topic, I've always been playing with wrestling figures since way back in the day. Not quite as far back as Gmoney, but back in the day. Before wrestlingfigs, there was a site called wrestleworld, and I remember the first pic fed I seen on there(can't remember the name), but eveyone loved it. At that time most people, including myself were just doing a text fed, so to see that show was revolutionary. Before long, people were doing pic feds more then text feds. I finally got technically inclined enough to figure out how to take pictures and post matches, and the passion began. I think my biggest inspiration right now is the fellow pic fedders and friends I've made on the board. If It wasn't for the community we have here and on pic fed world, I wouldn't be pic fedding. And that'd suck because, outside of twiddling my thumbs, it's the only hobby i have

I got into it through CGJ, Guru/Mikey, and KC. I was looking at the teaser for ROP/HLW InVasion (hell of an event btw, check it out.), and I saw the link to KC's fed, ROG. (check out like ALL of their shows. <3). Then I eventually got to WFigs and signed up.

I was watching pic feds before i even signed up on here i loved watching indy pic feds like ROG, ROP and WAP they are big insirations to me when i was starting a pic fed i mostly filmed hardcore/deathmatches for joint pic fed shows like Freedomania, Head 2 Head and Figamania, i did film one show though it was called "Battle Of The Butchers" the main event was a Falls count anywhere match between The Necro Butcher and Abdullah the butcher my favorite match i ever filmed was the "All Out Warfare Deathmatch" between Sabu and The Necro Butcher at Freedomania 2010 i've stopped pic fedding now but if i ever pic fed again then i would like to do a indy pic fed again with a really detailed arena and a awesome roster .
