Can someone explain how on earth Eve got put into the match? That was quite anticlimatic. Handicap match isnt allowed by raw gm everyone goes wtf then realize its kongs time eve comes out dipissapointment. No no, I watched it. I just don't understand why Eve. I honestly thought Kong was heading out.

the worst thing about the rumble was definitely kane coming in last and doing literally nothing ?!

I think it would have made more sense to have Layla pin Eve and Michelle pin Natalya and have the ref count the 3 for one of them and then they argue about being champion, etc.
But we are stuck with Eve and no Kong.

I love Del Rio, [glow=red,2,300]but I do believe he might of gotten pushed a little too fast[/glow]. Wow!!! Could it be that SOMEONE out there actually agrees with me?? I can't ing believe it. Hell has frozen over I do believe. LOL. ;D Seriously though, I completely agree. Pushed too hard, too fast. As you said, the guy hasn't even held a singles belt yet and already he's gonna be main-eventing WrestleMania?? Nah, nah. Don't think so. I seriously doubt he'll make it to the main event at WrestleMania. He'll lose his #1 spot along the way. Someone like 'Taker, HHH or Christian will beat him for it. I don't understand this logic at all. Since when does how fast someone has been pushed correspond to their talent? Batista was with the company for how long? He was dire. Absolutely freaking dire. Couldn't put on a match, could barely talk on the stick. I'll probably get blasted for this too, but I'd say exactly the same for Orton. Now, with someone like Sheamus or Swagger? Sure. Pushed too soon. They weren't comfortable on the mic. They didn't seem used to such a huge television role. And they (mainly Sheamus) were pretty damn dull in the ring. But Del Rio... He's a different story; Comfortable on the mic? Hell yes. He steals the show pretty much every Friday night... and he's a highly successful wrestler prior to his WWE run. If the guy is capable, why would you hold off pushing him?

I'm still wondering Mr. Old School, who you wanted to win the Royal Rumble. Ax, Smash, take your pick. ;D Apparently both.

i just really wish there was some consistency with the way they push new people.
Wade Barrett was made up do be huge deal with the Nexus. couldn't win the title or beat Cena, so now he's reached his peak.
Jack Swagger won the belt... and lost all the glamour he had before it.
The Miz lost to Jerry Lawler a bunch of times. now he'll lose to Cena.
Sheamus won the belt twice so far but when i see him, i don't see a guy like Cena or Orton, he's just not kept on their level.
i just can't see them actually doing something special with Del Rio.

I'd also like the add that while people are complaining about Del Rio being pushed to fast, I think they've done it the right way with him. He came in automatically as a top guy, injured major stars, etc. they have also, so far, avoided the mistakes they made with Sheamus and Swagger in their early pushes.
I don't get the problem with bringing in a lesser known to the top immediately. not everyone needs to, or even should, start at the bottom. Taker, Brock, etc. came in big. Granted, I wouldn't put del rio up there with them yet, but you have to start somewhere.

no it shouldn't have. I'm pretty sure more people would of raged about Orton winning again, then Del Rio winning. XD

I'm still wondering Mr. Old School, who you wanted to win the Royal Rumble. Why do you want to know so bad?? So you can turn around and trash me?? Not gonna happen, pal. I barely watch WWE anymore. I have no idea who I wanted to win. There are so many of these new, young guys and I have literally no idea who they are, just because I did stop watching for a while and just catch bits and pieces from time to time. Guys like Zack Ryder, Kofi Kingston, Alex Riley, Del Rio, Swagger, Sheamus and on and on...I barely know who they are. They sound like a bunch of guys from WCW, if you ask me...Lol.. But yeah, I was mainly watching the Rumble for Booker T and Diesel and I'm VERY happy they came out. It was a mark out moment for me. I loved it. As did thousands of others. I wasn't rooting for anyone in particular to win the Rumble. Didn't really matter to me because I barely watch anymore. Trust me, if this Alberto Del Rio guy was ready to main event WrestleMania, I'd be happy as hell, just like the rest of you guys. But I know he isn't. Wether you agree or not, he's being pushed way too hard, too fast. As I said, WrestleMania is still 60+ days away. ALOT can happen in that time. Nothing is set in stone yet.

no it shouldn't have. Despite how bad that would've been and there being no direction to go with Orton. At least Mr. Old School would've ordered Wrestlemania and we all know that's the most important thing for WWE's future success, they may as well as well just sell the company now.

I honestly thought Kong was heading out. Yeah I think it should have been Kong too. I haven't really seen much of Eve but does she really deserve the womens title or be in the title picture? (since it was a "controversial" ending.) The moonsault was pretty good though.

I guess what makes sense would be, Ax and Smash as the final 2 and their feet both touch the ground at the exact time. They are so old that they'd break their backs on impact. They still wrestle. I think they're the GLCW Tag team champions for Dave Herro's promotion (for anyone that truly gives a shit). I've seen a match, they look and wrestle like absolute crapnow Sad for such tag team icons in the business

I think Del Rio has the skills and the charisma.....I mean hell, he's not a rookie in wrestling, he's been around for quite a bit. To me though he just doesnt have the "it" factor. He seems like a Mexican JBL and I didnt think JBL had "it" either.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again.
I love this forum.
I love the idiots that think that, just because they've watched wrestling for a really long time, they can book things better than the WWE can.
I love the people who want WWE to push young talent, but ONLY the young talent they think is deserving. Sorry, folks. John Morrison just ain't main event material.
I love the people that think they know EXACTLY what is going to happen, and, when said events do not happen EXACTLY like they thought they would, then WWE "dropped the ball".
I also love the idiots who argue with all these people. Arguing on the Internet is pointless. No one is going to magically go "You know what? You're right! I've been wrong this entire time! Thank you for showing me the error of my way!" Just knock it off.
If you don't like Alberto Del Rio winning the Rumble, fine. But to say that he is not fit to headline Heat, let alone WrestleMania, is the most idiotic use of hyperbole I have ever seen in my life. And to anyone who says he's "bland", or "has no charisma", just stop. You're only making yourself look foolish.
Alberto Del Rio is definitely ready to take a major role in the WWE. The guy has been wrestling for years, is incredibly solid in the ring, can work the mic better than 85% of the roster, and has the look of a champion.
This is the future. Get with it, or get out of the way.

You don't watch WWE much anymore and don't know alot of the new guys.. So what the hell do you base your opinion on of Del Rio isn't ready? If you haven't seen much of him, then you can't really judge. You are basically judging it on the fact, he wasn't around 5 years ago or whenever when you watched it. Which is a stupid thing to do. Del Rio has been a big talent on SD for a while now, and been pushed as one of the top heels in the company, before even winning the rumble.
