Best match was the opener of course. Rest of the show was pretty decent. Of course, WWE went the safe route and are giving us Miz vs Orton instead of Miz/Morrison. I love Orton, but at this point, I don't see why Morrison can't be in the main event. I hope that maybe Morrison gets added and it is a triple threat.

Punk/Barrett at Rumble with Nexus as lumberjacks? That'd be cool to see, or at least some interaction between them in the Rumble match?

This is why split rosters are stupid. Especially when you have a lack of talent at the moment. Same 4 or 5 guys always on top of each show. Put the brands together and have 10 top guys going for one title like it use to be.

since when does everyone hate Orton? I swear to god this forum doesn't know who they like anymore I think I can talk for almost everyone when I say that his matches have become extremely predictable. I mean, I am not talking for me, as I remember Orton became my favorite back in 2005, and everyone here hated him up until Royal Rumble 2009, or the night when he punted Vince. I stopped liking him at Royal Rumble 2010, because that was when his matches became predictable. Trust me, I HATE when people say WWE is predictable, but I just can't find another term to describe what his matches have become. I also hate the way he acts like a "snake".

The main event was fun, but the WWE has become very easy to predict.
I am sure most people knew Orton would win before the three participants were announced

At the least, this frees Morrison for a potential Rumble victory.
But knowing WWE, Orton will win the title and Cena will win the Rumble. In fact, that's my prediction. Orton winning seems pretty likely. Cena probably won't win the Rumble, but I still see Cena vs. Orton at 'Mania.

Welp, on the bright side, we have no fear of Orton winning the Rumble this year. So there's your silver lining to that outcome. And personally, I can't wait until Miz/Morrison finally do get the chance to showcase their talent on a grand PPV stage after tonight's great match.

since when does everyone hate Orton? I swear to god this forum doesn't know who they like anymore Christ, I swear it is so annoying when people say this. Since when is 'this forum' one single minded entity. It's a discussion board, people have different opinions. Besides, the reason (I assume) people dislike Orton is because he's of the most boring wrestlers in ring and has been doing this whole 'Angry face, RKO' schtick for way too long. He is not the new Steve Austin and never will be, the guy needs to change the record already. He also appears way too often in the main event nowadays, thus becomes even more annoying.

How was RAW tonight? I had the unpleasant honor of working tonight, looks like Miz won and Orton is the new #1 Contender. I'll catch the replay this Wednesday, just looking for some overall feedback.

I'm happy that the Uso's won, hopefully a tag title shot for them.

Am I the only one that noticed how there breaking news was all meltzerified? Cena may or may not be returning to active competition on Raw next week.
Well that gives a whole lotta credit to Meltzer. Apparently wwe can't make up there mind themselves whats gonna happen or not happen.

I love how some say Orton's matches are predictable. Whos isnt anymore? Orton has added 3 or 4 new moves to his aresenal and hes doing the same stuff? Sounds like some are just mad their favorites arent in that position. Too bad,Vince goes to his moneymakers and ones that are over and those are Orton and Cena. Most people would.
Did you hear the lack of pop Morrison got tonight when his music hit? And again,if Miz is so great hows come the last 2 big title matches Miz has been in after tonight(The TLC Tables match and tonights Falls Count Anywhere)have all been gimmick matches? Maybe they know Miz isnt good enough for "bigtime" regular main event solo match.
And its funny,I have read all the recent house show reports from the Miz v Orton matches and all of them gave their matches rave reviews. So if those are good the PPV match should be even better but no,lets still complain before the match even happens because Zack Ryder isnt in it.

It's not so much his matches, but his character is stale now.

I really don't like the fact that Daniel Bryan was not on there. Maybe he was under the ring with The Bellas.

i hate that i don't get the superstars channel. anyways, i missed the first viewing of raw so i'm just catching it now, thought i'd post some of my thoughts over the next few hours: - enjoy how they started with the championship match AND how they let morrison come out following miz. smart build. miz's bodyguard is a surprisingly good worker as well. a bit of oversell, but hey. - miz plays the small cowardly heel very well, and they made sure to play with the dynamics of morrison being the 'true blue face who wants to prove he's as good as his partner' and miz feeling that he may not have realized his former partner's potential. it's these dynamics that make a match, and wrestling in general, entertaining. - good spots in the falls count anywhere match, morrison deserves more focus. - good build for the cage match main event.

I believe I called somewhere after Morrison won the contendership match that it would still somehow be Orton vs. Miz at the Royal Rumble. Sucks that I was right.

It'll be really cool now if Morrison wins the Rumble. Perfect build in my opinion.
