since this is the discussion board, I was wondering as to why people's posts/replies are being edited by Wars? Especially if it's to someone's show.

I don't agree with replies being edited. It is quite ridiculous. If something blatantly offensive or hateful is said, then maybe there is cause for it. But if someone is politely giving criticism then there is no need for it.

Back in our day, on the pic fedding board the mod never edited replies, people just took it as constructive criticism and did their up most to change that around.

I haven't had a chance to look around at the edited replies, but if it is happening and the replies are merely constructive criticism, I'm not sure exactly what the issue is.
It needs to be understood that we are presenting a"show" and as with any show, people are gonna have their likes and dislikes. I know most of us appreciate the criticisms and from what I've experinced they've been constructive. I mean, if I need to do something that's gonna make my audience tune in more or if it's gonna snag one or two more replies, then hell yeah, I'm gonna make an effort to do some changes.
Obviously, sometimes changes can't be made and of course you can't please everyone, but I would think that one of the goals of pic fedding would be to make your product as appealing as possible. And replies, positive and negative, help to shape that.

I agree with that, DJ. People should take the feedback in stride and learn from the replies.

All of my replies seem to get edited or deleted as if my thoughts aren't required around here. It's quite annoying really. I don't do anything wrong on here, if anything it's the other way round with people blatently trying to instigate a fight with me on the sims board.

If things are being edited-- it is for a reason.
Since today's "issue" is either heating up over at Pikfed World or here via PM, I'll let you guys know what happened. Two fedders started trading unnecessary barbs in someone else's thread. A third person felt the need to join the fray. Out of respect to the poster, I edited all mention of the issue- since it has nothing to do with his fed. If there was ON TOPIC stuff, I left it.
I don't really care how things were done before, I'm doing it now. I try to leave as much alone as I can. However, I will clean up after you if I need to.
