Should of made the attacking stick a lighter color because it's hard to see with the sky being a similar color. Ok, so from what I can see from the jump it's what I would expect from a new guy, first off, you need to get rid of the pause as it kills the flow of the whole flow of the animation, I don't know if that was an attempt at spacing or whatever but you don't pause the stick whilst it's in motion. Besides that you should start trying to move every joint in every frame so that the stick doesn't look so stiff, also this will come along with spacing but the whole thing is slow and you need to take out a lot of frames. The reaction was there for the receiver though kinda of looked half done and the attacking stick didn't really react at all. remember that the reactions are as important as any other part of the animation. But overall your off to a good start and it's good to see some new faces around here, I have no doubt that you will improve if you put the time into it.
