As he is supposed to be making an appearance on Raw tomorrow night I thought i'd make this thread. He was one of the many guys in WWE who had quite a long spell without doing very much. He never won a major title strangely even though he went undefeated for his first 2 years in WWE. What did you guys think of him?

I didnt like him in the 90s and I didnt like him when he returned 10 years later.

I was a huge fan of his when I was a kid. I especially liked his feuds with HBK, Bam Bam, and Rick Martel.


Winning titles is about timing and back then they weren't just handed out to everyone. i wouldn't say he didn't do anything. Sure he never won a title, but neither did Jake Roberts. He had many feuds and was a big name for most of the time he was there.

Pretty much this. I think WWE was trying to rehash old superstars into new superstars during the New Generation era. Bret Hart being the new Bob Backlund. Shawn Michaels the new Billy Graham and Tatanka being the new Jay Strongbow.

I loved Tatanka in the 90's and felt he deserved an IC title run. I thought for sure he'd take the title off HBK at WM IX. But he would need to lose it or have an angle where he was stripped of the title in order to keep his streak intact.

I still feel Tatanka & Bigelow needed to win the tag team titles at the 1995 Royal Rumble. I hated how the Kid & Holly went over only to lose them a day later.

I thought it was a great swerve they pulled by saying Luger was with Dibiase, but really it was Tatanka the whole time.
