I know that they had feuds in 'wrestling' but why do people say that they don't get along in real life, and other things like 'Mattel won't be able to make both Hogan and Savage' and things like that, May I ask why this is happening?
I'm only 13 and I do know a fair bit about 'wrestling' but I don't know about they're feud outside of wrestling.
Can somebody tell me the whole story.

yeah they defo had a bitter real life feud that began in the late 90/early 00s.
Brutus Beefcake goes into it in his Shoot.a lot of it was to do with Gorgeous George,Machos valet at the time too.cant remember exactly though but it was a very public feud

I doubt if anyone, except those two guys, knows the whole story. However, there has been plenty of gossip in the dirt sheets and among people in the biz about it. Here is what I've heard, take it all for what you will: *Savage's initial dislike for Hogan started in '89 when he, Savage, spent the entire year jobbing to Hogan. Savage felt that Hogan didn't do anything to help him stay in the main event picture (Hogan had booking influence at this point) after dropping the belt to Hulk. *Savage has stated that Hogan's massive black eye at WM 9 was due to a punch that Savage threw in a locker room fight. Hogan claimed the black eye happened in a boating accident but didn't deny that the fight took place. The origin of the fight was rumored to have started when Linda began telling Elizabeth how nice it was to have Hulk off the WWF grind (Hogan was gone from WWF between WM 8 and 9 amid the steroid scandal) and Liz began asking Randy to get off the road. Savage took issue with Hulk's wife and who knows what he might have said. *Hulk claims to have seen Savage in a club some time after their WCW run where their bad feelings seemed to continue. Hulk claims to have challenged Savage to a fight outside. According to Hulk, Savage was scared off him. *Savage claimed that Hulk called his (Savage's) father after this and called Randy a wimp/wuss/chicken etc..., which infuriated Savage. Randy claimed to have challenged Hulk to a legit fight and that Hulk was scared of him. He references this on his strange rap album "Be a Man". In short, I think it is safe to say they don't (or at least didn't) like each other. They probably came to blows a couple of times. Beyond that, I think its possible that two egocentric, delusional guys have made up or embellished stories about one another. |

^ Never heard of half of those rumors myself. Ive heard the one where Savage either thought Liz was cheating on him with Hogan or Hogan caused the divorce and that was the first rift and then later in WCW Savage blamed Hogan for Gorgeous George leaving him. Basically I think Savage is just a nut and Hogan is dysfunctional.

Yeah I haven't heard many of those rumors either. I always thought it had something to do with Liz but was never 100%.
Savage definitely seems like he would be off his rocker though.
