Another 2010, oh goodies. Just kidding, but it is going to be hard to keep up with all the 2010's. Good luck.

There'll be more to judge once you've posted a show. Hopefully this can take off.

Aside from The Miz's eventual WWE Championship win, there wasn't a lot from this period that I enjoyed. Hopefully, you can turn that around. Looking forward to seeing what you deliver.

I hope you don't ruin Nexus like WWE managed to do and hopefully develop younger stars better than they did at this stage. Interesting to see somebody come back after over four years with a diary and it'll certainly be interesting to see where you take it.

| Monday Night Raw! / October 4th, 2010 / "Hell in a Cell" Fallout | A recap video from the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view open up this episode of Monday Night Raw. The clip mainly focuses on the interference in the Wade Barrett and John Cena match where two anonymous figures attacked Cena to force him to join The Nexus. The video ends with an echo of Wade Barrett saying The Nexus while Cena stares on. Pyrotechnics explode and the routine entrance of Monday Night Raw begins to proceed. Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler introduce us to this Raw being broadcasted from the Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas.
"We Are One" hits the P.A system and out comes The Nexus, who happen to have a new member walking with them in John Cena. Cena is still wearing his typical attire and isn't seen to be sporting any Nexus gear just yet. A pouring of boos filled the Intrust Bank Arena. Barrett along with Tarver, Cena, Otunga, Gabriel, and Slater stood in the ring as the crowd quieted down. "Well John Cena, I'm gonna get down to the fact of the matter here. You lost last night, you know the consequences. So now I have one question, are you with us or against us?" Barrett pulled out an extra Nexus armband and held it to out to Cena who stared almost emotionless to the crowd. Cena grabbed the armband and took his own apparel armbands off. He looked to Wade Barrett who was yelling at him to put it on. Cena slipped on the Nexus armband and Wade forced his arm up to do the Nexus' taunt. It had seemed that Cena was going to follow the orders of his new leader in Wade Barrett.
► THE MIZ DEFEATED DANIEL BRYAN - The Miz is the one who was able to come out on top in this rematch including 2 of the 3 competitors from the match. The Miz used his briefcase to smash the head of Bryan while Alex Riley distracted the referee.
A replay from the previous Raw before Hell in a Cell shows Edge attacking the laptop (aka the Anonymous General Manager) and destroying it to pieces. The replay ended with Edge walking away from the laptop and it fades into Edge standing backstage with Josh Matthews. Matthews asked Edge if he was worried about the consequences for destroying the Anonymous General Manager in a sense. Edge said he "didn't care what the consequences were for destroying that stupid laptop and the stupid DING! DING! DING! DING!" Edge went on to say he is going to do what he wants on this show and there is nothing that the General Manager can do to stop that.
A commercial showed while a flashback of what had happened in the main event of Hell in a Cell showed in flashes on the screen. It showed Paul Bearer turning on The Undertaker to take sides with Kane as the World Heavyweight Champion. The commercial says to turn to SmackDown on its new channel of SyFy on Friday night.
► DREW MCINTYRE & CODY RHODES DEFEATED R-TRUTH & KOFI KINGSTON - This match was just a way to put over the tag team champions. McIntyre had somewhat of a comeback when being beaten down by R-Truth and he went on to hit him with the Future Shock to capture the win.
The show came back on to show Natayla in the backstage area looking into a mirror. Suddenly she was ran up and attacked by the group of LayCool. They were fought off of Natayla by the Bella Twins and they looked forward to their match with them that was up next as EMTs helped Natayla.
► THE BELLA TWINS DEFEATED LAYCOOL - The Bella Twins got the feel good win and in a way avenged Natty getting attacked earlier. The Bella Twins showed up and this potentially started a feud between the 4 people.
John Cena is seen when we fade from the last shot of the match. He is standing in the locker room messing around with his Nexus armband. The camera pans out and we see Randy Orton walk into the locker room. He stands above John and he goes on to rant about the fact he couldn't believe Cena is actually abiding Wade Barrett's rules, he goes on to talk about how this isn't the same John Cena we've seen lately and he thinks he's lost his aggression. Cena starts to rant about how he isn't different at all and he is still here to teach the WWE Universe about Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect. He goes to take off the Nexus armband when Wade Barrett and the rest of the Nexus walk into the locker room and confront Cena about what he's doing. He tells Cena that he better put that armband right back on or consequences will be given to him such as the termination of his contract. Cena gives it a second thought and slides the armband back on with thoughts of consequence running through his mind.
We also see a recap of Sheamus losing to Randy Orton so Orton could retain the WWE Championship. Wea see the camera then show Sheamus and John Morrison walking split screen and it said that their match was up next.
► JOHN MORRISON DEFEATED SHEAMUS - John Morrison surprisingly came out of this match as the victor. He put up a good fight against Sheamus up until the end of the match when Sheamus tried for the Brogue Kick when Morrison reversed the finisher and hit Sheamus with the Moonlight Drive to win in a flash victory!
Morrison couldn't believe he won the fight himself and was celebrating until Sheamus came up and brutally attacked him. Sheamus began a beat down on Morrison before standing him up and delivering an angry Brogue Kick right to Morrison's jaw. Morrison immediately dropped to the mat and EMT came out to check on him as Sheamus stormed up the ramp and into the back. Sheamus' losing is finally getting to him.
A graphic popped up for the main event match which will be headlined by John Cena and Wade Barrett facing off in a tag team match against Randy Orton & Edge (formerly Rated RKO). Will Cena follow orders of Wade Barrett when they team together to face the reigning WWE Champion and the Ultimate Opportunist? Find out on the main event!
► JOHN CENA & WADE BARRETT VS RANDY ORTON & EDGE CAME TO A NO CONTEST - All four competitors came out to fight in this main event tonight. Wade commanded Cena at many points of the match and Cena was trying to blow off his new leaders orders. Towards what felt like the end of the match, Michael Tarver, Heath Slater, Justin Gabriel, and David Otunga surrounded the ring before hopping on the apron and pouncing on Edge and Orton.
The referees kept ringing the bell as The Nexus continued a brutal beat down of Randy Orton and Edge. The Nexus held Edge and Randy on their knees as their leader Wade Barrett grabbed a chair and slid into the ring. He then forced John Cena to watch the devious act that he had planned to do. While Cena was watching, Wade smashed the chair onto Randy's head and Randy dropped onto the mat unconscious. Wade then handed Cena the chair and started to demand that Cena smash Edge in the head with the chair. Cena resisted following orders before the Anonymous GM dinged in an email. Michael Cole got up and recited the famous line of "May I have your attention?" The email went on to state that Cena must follow orders of his Nexus leader or he will officially be terminated from the WWE immediately. Cena resisted some before another email from the GM insisted that he do it now. Cena stood there for a second before grabbing the chair from Wade and hitting Edge in the head, thus making him drop onto the mat. The Nexus then all stood in their stance with their arms raised. Barrett forced Cena to raise his hand and the final shot of Raw ended with The Nexus in their stance along with new (forced) member John Cena. |

Here we go. Let's get RAW! First off, I think you should center everything on the page. It will make it look more appealing. A good opening segment establishing The Nexus's dominance over John Cena. Will we see some shades of grey from Cena during this run? Miz cheating is a good out for Daniel Bryan. I hope Miz gets a good championship run that won't be overshadowed, that is if you make Miz champion. Miz was such a good heel back then, still is actually, and deserves to have the belt. Edge is crazy. I guess Edge is very... on edge. *puts sunglasses on* Decent win for Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes. WWE missed the boat with McIntyre, I hope you give him a push in the future. Meh, Bella Twins getting the victory. I would have preferred LayCool winning, but it's fine. Good backstage segment between Orton and Cena. Nexus Wade Barrett really is a douche. Morrison over Sheamus was a good surprise, and I hope you push Morrison. The local medical facility must be getting crowded, first with Natalya and now with Mundo. The main event should have been advertised somewhere during the beginning of the show, it's a huge match considering Cena is teaming with Nexus for the first time. The post match stuff was interesting, but a chairshot to the head? Personally, not my favorite but it works. Overall, a decent RAW that had a big main event that should have been advertised (on .com even). Some good stuff for the beginning of the diary.

Here we go. First off, the layout here is simple and gets the point across. Basic opening segment to get the Nexus over. I wonder if we'll see John Cena embrace the heel group a bit more. Miz over Daniel Bryan via underhanded tactics is fine. I feel like he should get his run with the WWE Title soon because he was so good at this time. Good choice for an opening match. I think it would be cool if you take insane Edge down a fun path. Would be different for sure. There's a soft spot in my heart for the Dashing Ones. Give them a solid reign. LayCool attacking Natalya is fine but I don't know if it would be an EMT related assault. Seems like a bit much. Surprising defeat for LayCool. The Cena/Orton segment was cool. John Morrison beating Sheamus is a bit of a surprise. I think that Sheamus should have gone over and maybe Morrison return the favor at a PPV. Their Ladder Match at TLC 2012 was great. EMTs are working hard. I would have swapped this and the Divas matches though. Morrison/Sheamus would have been the first hour main event. Rated RKO! I would have promoted that earlier in the show somewhere. It's a big deal. I like the idea of Nexus forcing Cena to do certain things. It's well done and different for his character, so I really hope you keep it going for a while. The only issue with the finish is that chair shots to the head are banned so maybe just an assault with the chair would have worked better. A nice start here and I hope to see this continue.

The right way to start the show off here with John Cena being welcomed in to the Nexus. I don't see him sticking around with them long, for sure. The Miz beats Daniel Bryan in the opener and it's thanks to Alex Riley. Fair enough, I suppose, we all know Miz is a scumbag and will do all this crap to win. Edge, you got them crazy eyes. Next up, Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes beat R-Truth and Kofi Kingston rightfully, as they are the better team of the two. And that is not being racist, it's just fact! FACT FACT FACT! Wait, that's a few years away. Anyway, moving on, LayCool attacks Natalya and then gets beaten by The Bella Twins. Meh, diva stuff that isn't too intriguing. Weird to see The Bella Twins being face. Orton and Cena sure are ranting a lot in this conversation but Cena keeps the band on, knowing he has to. Poor Cena. Sad Cena. Next up, John Morrison beats Sheamus and I'm cool with that. I'd like to see Morrison get some shine down the road. John Cena and Wade Barrett versus Randy Orton and Edge should've gotten more promotion tonight, but, a good main event to have and it goes to a no contest as The Nexus strikes! The Anonymous General Manager tells Cena he will be terminated from WWE if he doesn't abide by The Nexus and Barrett's rules? Well, damn. I'm still sure Cena will find his way out down the road, that is for sure. Overall, a solid show to start things off and man, 2010 seems like forever ago.

WWE Monday Night RAW: Monday 4th October 2010…Very refreshing to see something different for a change. A bit of a strange time period with late 2010 being a really bland time to be a wrestling fan, but nonetheless. A few notes, your roster layouts are a little plain looking and take up a bit of the page – maybe look at other diaries to see how they’re formatted and such. And a personal gripe – Verdana as a font is the DEVIL! Onto the main show, this layout isn’t too bad I suppose, just the font mainly. It’s clean, kept brief and straight to the point. The Nexus opening up the show was needed to address the biggest story coming out of Hell in a Cell last night, when John Cena lost to Wade Barrett. Barrett forcing Cena to join the Nexus was the main point of this – strange that there was no official main event announced here though. It was newsworthy for an opening segment, though. The Miz beating Daniel Bryan was an interesting decision given Bryan beat Miz to win the United States Championship just a few weeks ago at Night of Champions. That said, we’re closing in on the Miz taking the WWE Championship with his Money in the Bank briefcase. I do hope you keep Bryan fresh, since he was bland despite being hot off returning at SummerSlam and being a relatively new United States Championship. Edge’s interview was cool, addressing him destroying the Anonymous General Manager’s laptop. I wonder if you plan on having him go to SmackDown ala real life. RAW is packed with big names right now, whilst SmackDown feels quite underexposed. Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes beating R-Truth and Kofi Kingston made sense – I see that this was before Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston’s team tenure as Air Boom began. It’s strange to see Truth not paired with usual tag team partner John Morrison here, though. I guess he has other plans? McIntyre and Rhodes as WWE Tag Team Champions always struck me as bizarre, so I’m not too sure what to think about this. Laycool beating down the Divas Champion Natalya was strange, and I wonder where this leads to. The Bella Twins then beating Michelle McCool and Layla was strange, there is something missing here. Kind of oddball for even the Divas division. Further antics with John Cena were fun, illustrating his internal struggle whilst being with the Nexus. Randy Orton being passive in this show is kind of disappointing given that he is the WWE Champion. John Morrison beating Sheamus was fine, despite them always having awkward match to a degree. It was there to set up Sheamus starting the feud by injuring Morrison though, and I believe it worked well. And finally, quite a strange main event with Edge, Randy Orton and John Cena representing babyfaces whilst Wade Barrett represents a heel. It’s a shame that we haven’t seen the other members of the Nexus in competition either, in my mind. A good close to the show with the Nexus getting involved, though. Cena with more struggle with the Anonymous General Manager was fun, though. The head shot with a steel chair is definitely a no-no in the year 2010, though. Concussions are bad, man. Overall, this was a fair base show. I’m looking for more, but right now you’re approaching Bragging Rights and hopefully this next week you focus a lot more on that. It seems Orton will defend the WWE Championship against Barrett like in real life, but hopefully you switch things up more. Hopefully you don’t make the same mistake of having Cena and Barrett’s angle overshadow Orton’s WWE Championship reign completely. Another note – the show had no first-hour main event angle, and could have used another match to resolve this. I wouldn’t have minded seeing Superstars results here, either, given that it was a fairly prominent feature of the week here. Overall, not a bad start. Hope to see more, this was a pleasant read.
