With the 1980 to 1989 poll going so well I have decided to expand to the 90's.
Let's get it on.... ;D

1990 - 92 WWF was awesome with its Golden Era still continuing, but after the steroid ban in mid 1992, even though the wrestling arguably got better, it lost some of its star power when Hogan left and smaller guys were pushed to the forefront.
1996 - 98 WCW was red hot with the nWo angle, Goldberg & cruiserweights/mid card wrestlers stealing the show on every episode of Nitro. Had a huge ME scene due to Billionaire Ted's deep pockets.
ECW 1995 - 99. Revolutionary, in terms of language, violence and first to utilize luchadores. Also storylines were so far ahead realistically than WCW/WWF offerings at that time. Down side was production terrible.
1997 - 1999 WWF although under appreciated, WWF had a solid 1997, Austin v Harts is personal fave, then SCSA boom began in 1998, pulling ahead of the chaotically run WCW in 98 eventually returning back to the pinnacle of pro wrestling.
Winner - WWF

AJPW, easily. And it's not even close. I can't think of a better promotion than All Japan from 1990 to early 1997 (of all-time). They were just throwing out classics left and right.

ECW.
But my vote is quite biased since the only AJPW & NJPW I saw is when Brody & Hansen were on top of their game.
I got sick of the WWF when they started having "occupational characters" (garbage man, prison guard, hockey player, clown etc.) And WCW just wasn't JCP/NWA anymore.

WWF.
it was all I had acess to until 96 when TNT started showing Nitro every Friday night.so by very virtue of that it went unopposed for 6 years.
man I loved watchong Raw and Nitro back to back.used totape them both......96-99 was such an exciting tme in wrestling.

To tough of a question for me to be honest.
I watched WCW continously from 1995-1998.
But when I was introduced to Stone Cold....things changed a bit lol.

As much as I love the WWF/E. I have to choose WCW, I was/am a huge fan of WCW.

I was always a die-hard, hardcore WWF fan, throughout the 90s.

The matches that AJPW and even NJPW(super j cups) during that period were no doubt some of if not the greatest matches I've ever seen. However, since I wasn't able to follow what was happening feud and storyline wise back then and even today with the language barrier, the emotional investment I had isn't as high as WWF/WCW.
WWF 90-92, WCW 92ish-94, ECW '95-96, WWF 96-99. The nWo storyline was interesting in the beginning and the cruiserweight/mid-card division in WCW was top notch for a period of time but the WWF from top to bottom was easily the more entertaining promotion during the latter 90's.
