Very good Wrestlemania with too much filler. What was it, 4 or 5 hours? They crammed too much in it.
+The two Heavyweight Championship matches MORE than delivered, including a finale that is truly Wrestlemania worthy. Benoit and Eddie in the ring, having scratched and clawed their way to the top after YEARS of hard, brutal work, being on the top of the world...it's an imagine that will never leave my mind. Especially after everything that's happened. It's still a classic moment, with two amazing matches. Hell, the triple threat may be the best Wrestlemania main event ever in terms of wrestling.
+The Undertaker vs. Kane. Nothing in terms of match quality, but it really felt like a Wrestlemania moment, with 'Taker coming back and getting revenge on his younger brother.
+Victoria vs. Molly Holly. It wasn't a memorable match, but it was nice seeing two different competitors go for the belt in this big of an event.
+Chris Jericho vs. Christian. It wasn't amazing, but it was a great, solid match, with a fantastic twist that brought back Sexyheel Trish.
+The Rock and Sock Connection vs. Evolution. This did EVERYTHING right. It was an exciting match, well booked, with everyone wrestling on all cylinders. And the right man went over, and the right man was pinned, and it built up to the epic Foley vs. Orton match at Backlash.
+John Cena vs. the Big Show. Cena was INSANELY over at the time, and having him kick off Wrestlemania was a great move. It was also a sign that he was onto bigger and better things.
-The tag team title matches. They tried to cram as many wrestlers as the could into the two tag title matches and they both ended up being incredibly forgettable matches not worth a damn. That's around 20 minutes that could have easily been cut, or separated into one, more manageable tag team match.
-Playboy Evening Gown Match. Really? So horrible. So unnecessary.
-Cruiserweight open. Again, instead of one, focused Cruiserweight title match, they tried to cram everyone on the card, and it ended up being forgettable. Hell, just make it Chavo, Rey, Ultimo, and Tajiri, and the match would have been much better, though I'd prefer a one-on-one contest over the belt.
-/+ Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar. Come on, this was horrible but it was too damn funny. Scott Keith said it best when he said it was a tremendous social experiment. The match was garbage, but the crowd made it incredibly entertaining.
