I spotted the Superstars Kurt Angle and decided to see if its removable singlet would fit the chunkier BCA Angle and here are the results (with the Gold Medal also being included): It looks a little chunkier in the photo that in real life. I think it makes this figure just brilliantly pop.

It was not difficult to get the singlet on (it's so elastic) and I love that it has "USA" printed on the back. It makes the figure look a little chunky (worse in pics) but, to me, it's an incredible figure in person. Speaking of the Superstars line... I also picked up the Superstars Kane that came with his (non-canon) robe and decided to try it on the BCA version and I freaking LOVE IT. This screams "big PPV entrance attire" for my planned fig fed.

picked up the (seemingly rare) Backlash BCA but had to Attitude Era style him. I found a decent deal on a loose but complete Big Show elite. Shirt is a little big but thinking I can pin it back a bit. Elbow pad is from the recently acquired undertaker elite.

I'm really shocked that Jakks never made a BCA Pat Patterson or Gerald Brisco as the stooges. Wasn't Pat Patterson rumored though?

Either as part of a third series of Ringside Collection or as a potential 2 Tuff 2-pack. I wouldn’t put much stock in those rumors, though. WWE didn’t come around to Stooges figures until well into the Mattel Elite line which tells me that neither were ever really a priority to be made. Maybe because neither were signed to deals involving merch until after their retirement.

As much as I would've loved The Stooges it would've been unrealistic to get them before of the likes of The Accolytes or Mean Street Posse.

If things had worked out differently and the rollout for TTL was delayed about six months, I think we see them in BCA form by the end of ‘99. The Posse would’ve been a harder sell. Too much of a risk for clogging up the pegs, and with Dr. Death and Jacqueline fresh on the mind, I don’t imagine Jakks wanted to go down that road again. Shane wasn’t a big enough name to carry those guys in a multi-figure set.
