I picked up that Warrior BCA loose last year along with the white/blue monster ring for $30 CAD from a local Craigslist ad. The sellers were a retired couple who were looking to move and downsize. They ended up throwing in 5-6 more figures that were in their son's old toy bin for free. One of those figures was the Wrestlemania XIV Shawn Michaels, complete.

This has probably been asked before but what stands are the best to use for displaying these please? Pretty much anything will work as long as the peg isn’t too thick. Jakks display bases from that era work best. Ringside’s should be fine. Are there any you’re looking into in particular?

Need to invest in some stands

Hey all,
What do you do if some of your BCA figures legs have gotten further spread apart, making it hard for them to stand. Any good ways to get the legs back to normal? I know the boiling water then cold water trick, but it doesnt always work and once the figure dries, the legs tend to go back to their wider position.

Once the legs become loosened, I think the only way to get them back to a tightened state would be to disassemble the figure, tighten each leg to your satisfaction with a screwdriver, then glue it all back together again. I suppose you could just superglue around the joint to keep the legs in a fixed position, but they’ll never be the same after that.

My secret, which isn't perfect, is cheap easy and extremley effective witout the need for dissaseembly or glue. What you need is some aimple sewing thread. Wrap around the space between the leg and the crotch til you acheive desiresd tightness. It also works on arms and torsos. It basicly fills up the gap and creates friction I guess allowing the loose parts to be tight again. It is not perfect because thread can sometimes pop out if you fiddle with it too much, but you can always take something thin and flat to tuck it back in. I used to do the same thing on loose torsos only using strips of thin folded paper. Thread works best though. A big spool is only 2 or 3 dollars and will last a long time. This is the method I swear by. I have been buying big l loose lots of bca figures for personal use as well as for selling, or well some I put out in halloween trat bags and everyonce and a while I will leave one in a random place in public for someone to find to make their day. I am thinking when I set up a little booth at the toy swap meet about offering little spools of thread as personal repair kits for free.

My first post to check back in here. I used to be active here but then life got in the way. I suspect some people will recognise my name from Twitter where I also engage in BCA talk.
BCAs have always been my favourites so it will be nice to relive my childhood memories here again.

Does anyone know which Yokozuna BCA is considered more rare than the other? Was the white attire rarer than the red or the other way around? Were both equally hard to find?
From my understanding they were both KB Toys exclusives and because we never had KB Toys here in Canada I missed getting it as a kid.
A Yokozuna BCA of either attire is on my bucket list but I'm just trying to get an idea of what to expect when looking at pricing and what can be considered fair or gouging.

The Yokozuna in white would be considerably less common since it was only released the one time, whereas Yokozuna in red was available on two separate occasions (Triple Threat 3-pack first, then as the first selection for the Special Edition series). It seems that collectors still want the solo red card more - probably because it’s the more memorable attire, so prices tend to be higher for it than the repaint in white.

Hey guys,
I'm going to begin filming a new pic fed (hopefully in the very immediate future) after spending about a year building up a roster (it will be comprised of WWF BCA, WCW Toybiz, and ECW OFSTM) and I was just wondering if anyone has any very easy fix up ideas for the BCA line, something that might be so small but makes the figure either feel more complete or just helps it pop a bit. Thanks!

Thanks! I like borrowing belts and other accessories from Mattel and the later Jakks years to use with my BCA figures. Here are some examples: Most anything that fits with a six-inch figure scale should work with this line. Mattel soft goods fit better with the smaller BCA bodies. The coat with Flash came from the Jakks CS9 Godfather.

Thanks for this and a GREAT idea for FF! No problem! If you have any specific figures in mind that you’re planning on using, I can give suggestions for what I’d put with them.

The question was recently posed on The Major Wrestling Figure Podcast "If Mattel brought back BCAs & continued the old line with contracted talent, who would you pick?".
Who would you choose?
I would pick the following although the ''contracted'' status of some might be questionable:
Booker T Brock Lesnar Kurt Angle Eddie Guerrero Paul Heyman Rey Mysterio Rikishi APA Too Cool (Would be nice for Brian (RIP) to get an updated figure.)

I would’ve wanted Hardy Boyz, Edge and Christian without a puffy shirt, Dudleys, Radicalz, K-Kwik and Road Dogg, Raven, Lita.

I'll try to keep this as realistic as possible: Acolytes/APA - I would love a BCA version of the recent Mattel Legends series. You could also re-release them w/their APA-era gear. Attitude Era women - Fabulous Moolah, Lita, Mae Young, Molly Holly, Stacy Kiebler, Torri Wilson, Trish Stratus Big Boss Man - I'd love a Big Bubba look Billy Kidman - Give me a Raven's Flock-era look here British Bulldog - 1999 WWF look Curt Hennig - What a terrific addition to this line he would be! Re-release in multiple colored singlets, gimme him in a suit too Dudley Boyz - I'd do the early cammo look w/removable sunglasses Eddie Guerrero - Give me the single Eddie as well as the Latino Heat era Eddy Fit Finlay - Gimme that 1996(ish) look Jake Roberts - 1996 KOTR look Kane - Gimme that look where the black flames have those clear, mesh streaks in the flames Ken Shamrock - Just an updated look tbh. Proper MMA gloves, better head sculpt, robe, etc. Kurt Angle - Would love a less bulkier BCA, gimme some cool singlets and his medals Lex Luger - Late 90s look of black tights, hair in a ponytail or loose. Mick Foley - Commissioner Foley, a Cactus with a red flannel, maybe an upgraded Dude Love Paul Heyman - Late 90s look. Scruffy bear, ball cap, coat, etc Rey Mysterio - COUNTLESS re-releases here. Just give me a 1996-1998(ish) look Rikishi - Too Cool era w/wrap Scott Steiner - I would LOVE a non-sunglasses head sculpt and there's plenty of eras to choose from (Steiner Bros, Steiner first singles run, Steiner late WCW-era run) Shane Helms - I would love a Three Count/"Sugar" Shane Helms and, of course, a 2001-look Hurricane Shawn Michaels - Gimme multiple looks without stupid chaps covering the tights Ted DiBiase - Give me an nWo era look I'd LOVE if they filled in the gaps with guys like Too Much/Too Cool, Mideon, Funaki; would've loved AEW contracted guys like The Hardys, Edge & Christian (2000 look), Taz, The Big Show, Chris Jericho, etc; and, finally, would love updated sculpts for guys like Vader, Viscera, Yokozuna, etc.
