i read that it was available for pre-order so i went to RSC and had the intention of pre-ordering Sheamus and Tatsu, I have been quite the complainer when it came to a Sheamus figure, i thought he should have been made a long time ago by Jakks or in 1 of the earlier lines by mattel considering how fast he's risen.
I get over there and see Sheamus is 17.99 and tatsu is 15.99. Time you add tax and shipping you'd been in over 40 dollars for 2 figures!
What is everybody elses stance? Are you going to pre-order or wait until they hit retail and try to track them down in stores and pay only 9.99 per figure? i'm still undecided on which way to go

I might order Sheamus, but haven't decided yet.

i agree, i'm probably going to wait and try to find Sheamus in stores before paying $17.99 plus shipping. i looked on RSC yesterday morning as soon as I found out Legends 2 were in stock, and the Sheamus was listed for $13.99, guess i should've pre-ordered it then.

I suggest you find yourself a small specialty store that will carry them. I found one here in Jersey. The guy is willing to hold figures for me when they come in. That way you don't have to pay the ridiculous prices. You will probably pay more than at Walmart or TRU, but not much more and certainly less than what you mentioned here. Good luck!

I don't want Sheamus but I do want Yoshi, Michelle, and Rey. I'll wait till they show up in stores and buy them though. RSC's prices have got a bit out of hand for some of the Mattel figures.

I'd wait for retail or Amazon.

I wait until I find what I want in stores.
McCool is $19.99 and that's the one I want!
It's a bit outrageous, first release, diva, whatever the excuse is.

I can wait until I find them in stores. I am really hoping to get a 1/1000 Sheamus in stores.

I used to order all the time till I realized I want spending three time what I could have. Now it is easier to wait with Mattel because the internet gets them in about the same time as stores. With Jakks there was like a 3 month differential.
So even though it kills me at times, I wait till I find it in stores.

That's a lot for a figure. At that price its not worth buying online. I guess good things come to those who wait.

I'm going to wait for retail as so far I've been very lucky with the Mattel line, one of my friends scores me all the new stuff with ease. The last set I ordered was elimination chamber because it came out to the same price as retail. series 7 I only want the 3 new figures.

I found Series 5 at Wal-Mart while Ringside Collectibles had them listed as "Pre-Orders" so I'd never order there with those outrageous prices.
