How is it bullpoop? I said no one criticizing Jeff Hardy could step in that ring and do any better, how is that bullpoop? It's true. And as far as Jeff Hardy's promos are concerned, yes they are horrible, I never denied that, but I believe much of the Warrior's stuff was very good and at the least, entertaining. I know I would much rather watch Warrior speak than 90% of the roster currently. He had intensity, charisma, something that is not present in many wrestlers. Because it's the worst comeback ever. "Oh you do better" I hope you never criticize someone like that, because you can't do better. I'm sure you have criticized someone in another profession and that you wouldn't be able to do better than them. See how it's bullpoop? His promo's were just jumbles of words and loudness. I'd rather listen to a Great Khali promo than Warrior. It isn't bullshit, anyone I've criticized, I could do what they are doing much better. And are you a Jericho fan?

Yes, but not as big of a fan as most of this forum.

Why is it so hard to believe? Most people that criticize someone could do what they are doing better, you don't think I or most people could act better than people like Matthew Maconahay or make better music than rappers or wrestle better than The Great Khali, those are the type of people I criticize and I know most could do the above much better than those people, I don't get why that is unbelievable to you, but anyway... and I asked If you were a Jericho fan because he said on Warriors DVD that he was quite underrated, thinking that if you were a huge fan like some people are on here (including myself), that could maybe convince you, but you aren't a big fan so never mind. lol

So you fail.

I'm not gonna lie...I was a member of the Warrior Nation.
I had a mini play tent that had Warrior on one side and Hogan on the other, I got to see him in person wrestle the late great Andre the Giant and even to this day I have the Ultimate Warrior t-shirt I got from the event.
I absolutely adored The Warrior, but that was 20 years ago and since hindsight is 20/20, all I gotta say is that the guy couldn't wrestle his way out of a make believe bag. He was pure unadulterated cheese, thick gooey cheese that gushed out of every orifice of his body.
He had his few moments and there is a nostalgic charm to him that brings a smile to my face, but ultimately he was one of the worst professionals to ever be involved in the business.

That's almost the exact same story that I have with Hogan. 20 years ago, no one was a bigger Hulkamaniac than me. Now I think the guy was little more than a masterful facade. Times change, huh?

I used to love all the different bright ring attires when i was a kid,he looked really cool to a six year old kid. I really enjoyed the match against savage at WM 7,i remember my cousin taping it for me,and i just watched the match over and over lol. Didnt enjoy him as much as i got older though......but i would of loved to see him wrestle HBK or Bret(even though he was on a break) in 96,they would have gave him his best matches of his career

If you didn't grow up watching the Warrior you really don't belong in this thread. sure we can talk about his lack of holds or what a jerk he is today. the bottom line is back then, watching as a kid, he was awesome. The music, the look and the crazy promos. the guy was so over it was ridiculous. In hindsight some people knock the promos but i loved them for they are, crazy and unique. Say what you want about the Warrior, he's a big part of my child hood and the man NEVER bored me. (can't say that about orton, cena, kofi, miz, etc etc)

Warrior was my absolute favourite when as an 11 year old boy I first tuned in to see this super human 'Warrior' as the champion late 1990.
Appreciate he is a poor worker and his attitude to the business sucks but back then he was brilliant! Loved his music...loved the facepaint & attire....loved the Royal Rumble 91 and WM7....loved his insane promos...and best of all I saw him on a UK Tour in 1991 vs. The Undertaker. Quality!

He was awesome, plain and simple. the IWC, they give Jeff Hardy the same ****. Wrestling is about more than holds. Warrior created a great magical energy, and had classic fueds. Yeah too right!!! He may have not been the best wrestler but he was different and defiantly a character! His image was great and thats defiantly a boost especially in the 80's early 90's (my fav era) Thats what todays wrestling needs more of! IMO

Because it's against the rules, very annoying and pushes all the new threads down.
