was at the local ( freehold NJ ) walmart today and as usual they had no WWE figures. so i happen to spy the toy section manager and ask him what the deal is , he tells me that as of last week he can no longer order mattle WWE products as per store policy, which i questioned him about the elite series 4 figures that showed up last week and the 2 cases of basics they had that never came to the shelves, his answer was that was the last order they could get and the basic figures got shipped back. sound like a snow job?? i think so , but then again this walmart barely has a toy section

Maybe WWE Mattel costs too much or they wanna cut down their toy aisle.

The guy sounds misinformed or like he is messing with you. Didn't at one time, they report that WWE Mattel was the best selling product at Wal-Mart?

NEVER and I mean never take the word of a Wal-Mart employee I only ever have problems. I had one nice woman there but she was no help everyone else was snotty as hell. I actually had one woman walking away from me telling me she just stocked those shelves and they had the same figures that had been there for weeks. They aren't paid very well and don't care to help customers, in fact that is a problem with most stores so unless you have a friend working at a store don't take anything these people tell you as gospel.

just last week i was looking for elite kane and they had since put out a few new elite 4 figs since i was there before, which led me to believe that there was more in the back so i very nicely asked this lady if they by any chance had anymore in the back, and she told me that they didn't get anymore in that night, which didn't really answer my question but i was like ok whatever, and then she told me that the store didn't even carry wwe mattel anymore for one reason or another and i told her that there was a whole bunch on the shelves an she just ignored me she straight up lied to my face lol but what are you gonna do, there are some somewhat helpful employees there who might actually check in the back for figures for you and if they're in a real good mood they'll bring out a case for to pick one out, and there are some, like most, who don't wanna be there and don't give a turd about the customers that without whom they wouldn't have a job in the first place uggh people bug me

I only talk to the employees at Wal-Mart if they have a scanner. Then I make them scan the items and get the status. Trust the scan-gun only. lol.

I try to buy as much of my figs as I can from Target and TRU. Both stores have always been helpful to me.

I can't even express how much Wal-Mart annoys me. If Target would carry the items I need for customizing figures, I'd never go near Wal-Mart again.

The only reason I like Wal-Mart more than TRU is due to prices and outdated merchandise. Target is very helpful and always more quiet than Wal-Mart. Same with K-Mart.

i dont know about walmart, but i work at kmart and the only time we never have toys in the back other than when they first come in. if the hooks are filled it just gets thrown in a "flex" area. i understand about bad service from some employees tho. im electronics manager and i know everything i have in the back, and when i tell some1 we dont have it in the back some ppl act like im lying.

According to an article a few months back WalMart is cutting their toy dept, crafts and one other dept in half in many storesauase they felt it made the stores look too cluttered. Check your store online to see if they carry the product. My main WalMart store is one of the stores that dropped many lines because they cut their toy dept in half. When I check online for stuff it says usually says something like "not available in store" "check another store" or "Online Only"

I'd be pretty PO'd if my local store didn't have any and back it up with such a stupid excuse.

Looking at the WalMart site now it has Legends Series 1 in stock at WalMart.com now for $14.97 each. And like I was saying above according to the website they aren't going to be sold in my local WalMart store (just Online) The only Mattel WWE they say my area WalMart carries is the FlexForce. Everything else says Online only or Site to store.

it wouldn't surprise me if they dropped the WWE stuff....,hell,not every WM in my area carries or gets new DCUC stuff....
if they DO plan to cut toy sections in half,my first suggesstion for them would be to come to the Hazleton,PA. one and take all the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen toys that have been sitting there, taking up half an aisle, for nearly a year and a half now....
