This is a good move for TNA wheter they started it or not. Think about it. ECW+TNA=Hardcore Stuff is coming. WWE=PG Which means Barney stuff is coming. More Male Adults will be making the switch.

Xplosion: *Desmond Wolfe and Magnus defeated Amazing Red and Suicide
*In a comedy match, Generation Me defeated Eric Young and Orlando Jordan. They did a deal where Young and Jordan couldn't get along.
iMPACT! (Airing 22/7):
*We open with the standard pyro as Taz and Mike Tenay welcome us.
*TNA Global Champion Rob Terry vs. AJ Styles. Pretty decent with Kaz trying help Styles every chance he gets. At one point, Terry does push ups with Styles. In the end, Styles uses the ropes to get the pin and become the new Global Champion. Fortune gets their first title.
*Sarita and Madison Rayne are speaking backstage. Velvet Sky and Taylor Wilde show up. Sky accuses Sarita of being the motorcycle woman. They mention the Knockouts Tag Team titles will be defended tonight.
*Angelina Love and Taylor Wilde vs. Sarita and Madision Rayne. Before the match, Earl Hebner announces that since the TNA Board of Directors has no proof it was actually a member of the Beautiful People who interfered at Victory Road, the Knockouts championship must go back to Rayne. Love hands the belt over to Hebner and Rayne is champion again. The match goes back and forth. Love and Taylor win. The Motorocycle woman arrives and helps beat down Love and Wilde. Velvet Sky and Lacey Von Erich come out on the stage as the heels are leaving and Rayne convinces Lacey to leave with her, leaving Sky alone on the ramp.
*Mick Foley, Rhino, Raven, Stevie Richards and Tommy Dreamer are seen arriving at the Impact Zone.
*Kurt Angle vs. Hernandez. Pretty good match. Lots of near falls but in the end, Angle locks in the anklelock and Hernandez taps. I'd assume this was a ranking match and Angle is after #6 next.
*After the match, Kevin Nash comes out and calls out Jeff Jarrett. After a minute or so, Jarrett comes out. Nash says that he thought about what Jarrett said last week, but that it wasn't Sting who is the log in the TNA punchbowl, but Jarrett. Jarrett says he doesn't know what Nash is talking about. Nash blames Jarrett for the entire Scott Hall and Sean Waltman contract issues. He tells Jarrett he is a selfish son of a b***h and walks off. Jarrett is left speechless.
*Samoa Joe vs. Jeff Hardy for the first time ever, so they are giving away a PPV bout for free. The match starts off with Joe chants then Hardy chants start, building to dueling chants as the two battle around ringside. Pretty back forth between the two with lots of near falls. Joe takes advantage by keeping it mat based wrestling so Hardy cannot get his high flying stuff going. Lots of powerful chops by Joe. More near falls. Joe has the crossface locked in but hardy gets his foot to the ropes. Fans chanting for Hardy. They keep going and the bell rings for a time limit draw. They keep going at it as the referees try to keep them apart
*Mr. Anderson pinned Matt Morgan with the Mic Check. Morgan attacks Anderson after the match when he calls for the mic and bloodies him. Anderson is helped out by the trainers.
*TNA Tag Team champions The Motor City Machineguns vs. Beer Money in a No Rules Street Fight. Match #2 of 5 match series

Stop comparing everything TNA does to everything WWE does. Like the Person who said that this angle is better then the Nexus Angle......Let it go!!
Enjoy TNA and stop trashing WWE. remember who's been around longer and who will continue to survive

So glad at Madison being Champion again. She was doing good as Champion before the nonsensical end to Victory Road's match. Also good to see Sarita and Taylor integrate with the rest of the Knockouts. Sounds like a good two weeks. Hogan and Bischoff should just stay away!

The rest of 7/22:
* Match 2 in a Best of 5 Street Fight - Beer Money, Inc. vs. The Motor City Machine Guns. Winner after a beer bottle to the head of Alex Shelley, Beer Money Inc. Beer Money is up 2 to 0 in the best of 5.
* Backstage, Christy Hemme is interviewing Rob Van Dam about the ECW invasion. RVD says it was awesome and it felt like home. Those times were where he became the Whole F'N Show and to have them here while he's champ is awesome. Christy asks what he thinks Dixie's announcement in the ring later will be. RVD doesn't know but hopes it's good news.
* Dixie Carter comes to the ring for a big announcement. She has her own music and entrance video. She says the company is about the fans. Her favorite part of her job is getting feedback from the fans. The thing that always comes up is the fans love of hardcore wrestling. She brings out Tommy Dreamer, Rhino, Raven, Stevie Richards and Mick Foley. Dixie says she has so much respect for them and brought them here to address the fans. Foley gets on the mic and points out this is her first time doing this. Dixie says this is not a promo but her being real. She says these guys were a major part of wrestling in ECW. It's not just about being hardcore but about a love for the business. She thanks them for their love of the business and their parts in making TNA what it is. Foley thanks her for giving them another chance to make an impression. Dreamer says he watched TNA from the beginning. He had friends tell him to come over but he couldn't because he needed the financial security to support his kids. He compares TNA to early ECW. He thanks Dixie for bringing him here to see passion. He then craps on the new ECW and starts crying about what a disgrace it became. He says this is not about an invasion, it's about the fans who chant it, for the friends who lived it give them one night to show the fans what it really was about. Dixie asks the fans if she should do it. They cheer for it. She says only one condition: these guys run it and control it. Dreamer says they're going extreme. Abyss comes out to say they are not happy. Not only are they not happy but they're d--- right pissed off. This was never supposed to happen. They hold only one person responsible: you Dixie Carter. So they instructed him to have some girl on girl action because his girl Janice (the nail board) wants a piece of her. RVD runs out and takes out Abyss before he can get to Dixie. Then Devon comes out with weapons and all the ECW guys beat up on him and give him their finishers. The end of it is RVD frog splashing Abyss through a table.
Dark Match:
* Okada vs. Brian Kendrick. Winner via leg lariat/moonsault pin combo, Brian Kendrick.

They've apparently announced that Hard Justice is going to be an ECW PPV. How original.
Seriously, this sounds awful. It disgusts me that Dreamer would go to TNA and all of a sudden trash the new ECW after saying so many good things about it. Comes off as such a puppet for whatever company he's working for, which, I get it, happens a lot. And I love Dreamer, too. But it's just completely unnecessary and uncalled for.

AJ beating Rob Terry is fine by me. Just get the belt off that roided up freak.
Velvet going babyface makes sense. Reunite TBP as faces......ok, sure.
Nash/Jarrett segment sounds great. The only thing I have not liked about Sting's angle is that it doesnt seem to develop from one week to the next. It always seems like its in a stalemate. Sting wants to get rid of the poison, but doesnt say anything else. A swerve by Bischoff and Jarrett going heel would be awesome. With Sting on the sidelines.....it could start a TNA needs Sting angle, as Sting is the only one who can get rid of the poison.
Joe/Hardy could be awesomeness, if they give these guys soem autonomy.
Dixie/ECW thing sounds horrid. NO....I dont want to see a hard core ppv. Its another damn gimmicky crap ppv. No, I dont want to see an invasion by ECW. No, I dont want another reminder of ECW. ECW was great in the past. But its gone, gone, gone. Let it be. And how Abyss fits into this, sounds awful.
Finally, I'll take the Nexus invasion over the ECW one. While I think WWE has completely taken all momentum away from that angle, it made sense originally. The ECW one does not make sense and cannot be considered serious.
I would much rather develop the Bischoff/Jarrett poison angle. Add some more pieces and have them "invade" from the inside. I would setup a Hardy/RVD title match at Hard Justice and then have the Bischoff/Jarrett group ruin the main event.

So TNA has all of theses new and young superstars who deserve exposure, but instead they bring up old washed up guys for ECW. Makes no sense to me. They have a perfect roster that they need to utilize and focus on, but instead they live in the past. Hard Justice isnt gonna sell any better than any other ppv theyve done, ECW themed or not.

Question:
Velvet/Lacey/Madison are tag champs, how does Sarita and Madison defend the titles together?
That would mean Love & Wilde are the new Tag Champs as well....

So they are basically copying what WWE One Night Stand was in 2005 and 2006, but it wont be as good?
They will never recreate the atmosphere of John Cena V RVD, or of One Night Stand 2005. The WWE did it perfectly.

Do you honestly think Dreamer was happy with the WWE's vision of the revived ECW? Maybe he did put it over on tv, but that doesn't mean he liked it. Dreamer was being honest when he said he stayed with WWE for the $ security. I went to a few Northeast wrestling shows around 2006-2008 and he always apologized to us ECW faithful for the mockery Vince was making of ECW.

This show sounds stupid. A terrible Impact following a terrible PPV. Way to go TNA. because John Cena being able to take out 6 guys is clearly more entertaining?

I think now would be the right time for a Simon Diamond title run. Who is with me.
