This show sounds stupid. A terrible Impact following a terrible PPV. Way to go TNA. You couldn't be more wrong. The "invasion" angle was played to perfection, especially Foley's entrance. It really seems perfect to have Heyman join the company now. I wonder if ECW was the "they" Abyss was referring to since they beat him down. |

here is a more detailed ending, courtesy of wrestlezone:
*The final segment is an announcement from Ric Flair.Ric Flair comes out with AJ Styles
and Frankie Kazarian. Flair said that the PPV was the worst night of his career, then announces Styles and Kaz as the first two members of Fortune. Desmond Wolfe came out and protests, but Abyss hits the ring so they all leave. Abyss calls out Rob Van Dam. He tells RVD "they are coming" and once "they get here", no one can stop them. He tells RVD that he has been instructed to bring them the TNA title. He says at Hard Justice, they are going to hang Janice 15 feet in the air and have an Extreme Anything Goes match. RVD and Abyss start fighting. Abyss gets the upper hand. Ink, Inc. comes out to help but aren't able to stop Abyss. The former ECW guys hop the rail as Mick Foley appears on the stage. They charge the ring and attack Abyss to rescue RVD. Security, agents and TNA wrestlers hit the ring and it's a crazy brawl. Names like Al Snow, Simon Diamond and Devon side with the ECW guys and it's the former ECW brawling with everyone and anyone associated with TNA and the crowd is going nuts for the two sides. Dixie Carter is trying to keep the peace but it's impossible. In the end, ECW takes over with Foley in charge. The end was awesome and actually better than the WWE vs. Nexus angles as everyone fought and no one ran away after 30 seconds

Considering that none of the guys on the ECW side can actually work an entertaining match anymore I say this angle is doomed.

Considering that none of the guys on the ECW side can actually work an entertaining match anymore I say this angle is doomed. D-Von, Al Snow, Tommy Dreamer, Stevie Richards and Raven can.....But im just going out of the guys they listed that invaded TNA. |

Considering that none of the guys on the ECW side can actually work an entertaining match anymore I say this angle is doomed. That's the problem I have for it. No matter how well they set it up, they're going to be limited with how many quality matches they can do. They may just turn up the violence a notch and wow people that way, but such a novelty can't last forever. I really think they should work around the idea of it being an "ECW Invasion" and just try to recruit some good indy workers that can fit in with the group to round things out. |

ECW has RVD on their site, as well as Stevie Richards. Really, do you need any more? Plus, I'm sure this feud will be promo-based.

I really do wonder who Desmond pissed off to becoming TNA's Top Jobber. I bet he's not even in the new Top 10 Rankings anymore.
Not a fan of ECW tbh, never have been. And as others have said, the feud will be limited on quality matches. Hopefully the ECW stuff doesn't go on too long like the MEM storyline did.

Can they say "ECW Guys", "ECW Invasion" etc on iMPACT? Because they sometimes say WWE and they don't get sued or anything. So would saying ECW be ok?
Otherwise I'm guessing they'll just be the 'Extreme' or 'Hardcore' Invasion.
