They were really dull. The gang scene in the WWF at that time was terrible. I guess it was their attempt at nWo type groups, but it sucked hard. The NOD was awesome of course, but Los Bariquas and the DOA were awful (spin-offs from the original NOD) and the Truth Commission was weak as well. You're telling me, man. I went to a house show in 1997 that was overloaded with Truth Commission, DOA and Los Boricuas members. It sucked so bad, especially since guys like Flash Funk were used to put the Truth Commission over as monsters, so you didn't even get to see any of Scorpio's ability (other than flopping around and selling for Kurrgan). The one Truth Commission guy that was booked to lose on the show (Jackyl) managed to job to one of the few guys on the roster that was more useless than they were: Brakkus. I just dug up the card from that show on Graham Cawthon's website... this is what I paid money to watch: - Brian Christopher defeated Scott Taylor
- The Truth Commission defeated Blackjack Windham & Blackjack Bradshaw
- Jesse Jammes defeated Salvatore Sincere
- Brakkus defeated the Jackyl
- The Interrogator defeated Flash Funk
- Kane defeated Vader
- Crush, Chainz, Sull, & 8-Ball defeated Savio Vega, Miguel Perez, Jesus Castillo, & Jose Estrada

Dude, that card is PAINFUL. I've been to some turdrific indy shows and house shows in my day, but that is by far the worst card of all time.

Kane and Vader sounds decent the rest sounds awful Yeah, Kane/Vader seems to be the only appealing thing from that whole monstrosity.

Kane and Vader sounds decent the rest sounds awful Yeah, Kane/Vader seems to be the only appealing thing from that whole monstrosity. On the surface, yes, it seems like a perfectly acceptable match. But this was November 1997... shortly after Kane's debut, and right around the time when Vader began "losing his mojo" and falling out of favor with the bookers. So the result was Vader getting one or two power spots in, but Kane winning a relatively lop-sided match and looking unbeatable. If was basically Kurrgan vs. Flash Funk on steroids.

I hand my Attitude Era knowledge crown to Jimmy, because I don't remember Tank AT ALL. ...'cept Mr. Show is right, Kurrgan was The Interrogator at the time.

Before someone else says it. The bookers or Shawn Michaels?
