Hey guys - been lurking for awhile but decide to post.
Can anyone remember when/how HHH & HBK first came together? Not when they branded DX, but when they first aligned with each other (kayfabe-wise). I'm assuming it was a tag match when Shawn was a tweener/heel in mid 97 but my brain is failing me. A Youtube link would be an awesome bonus.

Triple H & HBK versus Mankind & The Undertaker on RAW. The rest is history. Close, but not quite. The week before HBK faced Mankind in one of my favorite matches of all time, and promised that an insurance policy would be there to make sure he won. Hunter and Chyna came out midway through, but of couse Rick Rude was the insurance policy. After Rude layed out Mankind, Triple H got up on the ring and motioned to Shawn that he had Shawn's back. The next week, we had the infamous HBK/HHH vs. Mankind and Taker match. Damn, Raw was good back then! |
